I like how Houston plays, but its hard to see them making it over the Nugs with the Nugs being at full strength and Houston missing their best player, especially with Houstons schedule to end the season. Believe me, I'm rooting for Houston to make the playoffs over the Nugs avatar bet or not, I hate how the Nugs play and I hate Melo.

Great game between the Warriors and Blazers tonight too, and Lakers/Mavs exceeded the hype.

Oh yeah, and I was extremely impressed with Brandon Wright tonight. I can see why they wanted him badly. Hes gonna be a very nice player in the league.

DAL@UTA tonight boys and girls. It's at 9pm. 3rd tough test in a row for the Mavs who lost 2 heartbreakers on the road in a row to LAL and SA. Tonight is probably gonna be tougher since the Jazz basically never lose at home. Its on Rapstv and one of the Sportsnets if you want to watch.

Lol the Jazz are an absolutely insane home team... Mavs gettin spanked. They could be a dark horse this year, considering how hard it is to unseat them on the road.

For all the hate on the Suns, the Mavs aren't looking to unbelievable either. 22 losses after tonight if they don't come back. Not too great.

Even if dallas record goes down now, I wouldnt want to play them in the playoffs. IMO kidd is one of the scariest players to play in those moments

I don't like the addition of Kidd to the Mavs.
I think Harris and Diop was a much better fit for that team than Kidd was. I felt that way when the trade went down, and I still feel that way.

The Jazz are just outworking the Mavs in the last few minutes. 15-0 run, Dirk stripped twice on drives, Terry's jumper blocked as well.

Tonights games(MAR 4):

GSW@ATL, 7:00pm, LP- ATL beat them last time in GSW without Jackson, and ATL needs to start making some hay at home to catch PHI and NJ for the last 2 spots which I think they will eventually do because their lineup is too talented not to make the playoffs. Should be a high scoring affair.

LAL@SAC- This has letdown game written all over it for LAL. Coming off a big win vs Dallas, LA might not come out with the proper energy especially vs a Kings team who should come out with great energy after coming back from 24 down to win at home vs MIA. LA will still find a way to pull it out though probably.

PHX@POR- I think thisll be one of the easier matchups PHX has had so far with Shaq in the lineup because POR doesnt have a quick guard to own Nash and because they play slow. PHX starts catching their groove tonight.

I like it more now than I did when it happened, even though they've lost some games (though when those games are in San Antonio, LA, and Utah, and you almost won all those games, that's not a bad thing)

Kidd the player doesn't add as much to the team, but Kidd the competitor and leader does. Anyways the next 6 games should be important for them... Houston, and then 5 easy games (NJ, NY, Charlotte, Indiana, Miami). After that their schedule is kind of hard, but they should be able to hold off Denver if they win the games they're supposed to from now on.

Has anyone noticed that Darko's been looking better lately? 19/6 tonight and counting, games before that he had an 11/11, 2/8(not many minutes though), and 15/7. He's still only 22... bit of an attitude problem, but you never know. Memphis is so goddam bad that they'll probably start looking for him more, could be an oppurtunity.

PHX wins ugly on the road. Looked amazing in the 1st half then in the 2nd half they started taking bad jumpers instead of working it inside out like before.

The original assists dont seem to be going through Nash as much too, with him being the 2nd pass leading to the shot more often now. Only 4 assists.

Pretty good night tonight in the NBA(mar5):

ORL@WAS, 7pm, LP- Potential 1st round matchup. WAS has somehow been rolling lately without 2 of their big 3 and ORL is on a back to back. This would be an excellent 1st rd matchup if all of the big 3 for WAS was intact.

Game of the night:

DET@BOS, 7:30 PM, LP- If its anything like the 2 matchups before it could be the game of the year. Unfortunately Sam I am wont play due to a death in the family, but it probably would have been tougher for BOS to win trying to get him into the thick of things with his first game back vs a top 5 team anyway. Big Baby was huge in the 4th last time out vs DET in DET with 16 4th qtr points off penetration and him finishing, itll be interesting how DET adjusts to that, and if they cut off the dump down pass, expect Pierce to get a lot of points. I have no idea how this game isnt on national tv btw, ESPN is fucking stupid for putting PHX/DEN over this game.

PHX@DEN, 9PM, ESPN- If PHX wins ill be shocked. Back to back after a brutally tough game yesterday, plus the altitude going against them. I wouldnt be surprised if they got blown out. Nash and Amare are really gonna have to have superb games for them to have a chance, and I mean like 20+15 and 30+15.

The officiating in the Phoenix game was horrible. Not 1, not 2, but 3 HORRIBLE calls in the last couple minutes in the Suns' favor. In one of them Shaq was literally pushing Pryzbilla to the ground with his mitt, and Pryzbilla got the offensive foul. I have no idea how anyone could agree with that call.

The ref probably saw it from behind to the right where they couldnt see Shaqs arm. Pryzbilla was definately holding him but Shaq was hitting him as well.

The Jones block I dunno about. If the guy is leaning back when taking acharge isnt that considered undercutting? He was already falling down before Stoudemire even got there.

What was the 3rd one again?
