I think we should hold you to your word pimpery and make some sort of bet so you cant just throw out wild predictions like that without having to back it up. Shall we have an avatar bet on whether Houston makes dthe playoffs or not?
Well i think im taking the underdog part of the bet, if we can work it out so u would use the avatar a bit longer then i would have to, thats cool. I really think the rockets gonna do it, they now dont have to wonder who the ball goes to in the clutch, i dont think they are gonna win a playoff series again, but i really think they are gonna make it.

Yes, avatar bet it is as long as you agree.

BET: HOUSTON MUST MAKE THE PLAYOFFS. Deal?

BTW your Lebrons got spanked by the Celtics. Theyre starting to find their groove again as KG gets back to his normal self (18 11 5 4)

The Hornets spanked the Suns again. Yikes.

Wow, Utah with the huge comeback at home vs DET. DET still cant beat em.

Millsap looked like Malone out there off the bench, and Dwill controlled the game in the 2nd half.

Mehmet Okur with 3 big onion 3's in the last 3 minutes. Stone cold killa.

I cant believe my friend actually bet on DET with so many things going against them coming in. Stupidity.

FEB 29 games:

UTA@NO, 8:00PM, ESPN- Deron has owned Paul in these matchups so far, Utah has played the Paul pick and roll better than anyone in the NBA, but I think Paul will crack it tonight and outplay his counterpart for once. Another great West game.

PHI@GSW, 10:30PM, LP- The same thing seems to happen to GSW at home vs average to below average teams without Biedrins, which is they go down by 15 early and come back in the 3rd quarter on. Itll probably happen again today but PHI has the kind of mix that can really put it to PHI with their attacking style. It wont be an easy game by any stretch for GSW, and its a must win for positioning in the west.

LAL@POR, 10:30pm, LP- POR played them very tough in LA, and if Roy plays tonight itll be even tougher, but even if he doesnt itll be a tough game for LA on a backto back because POR is tough to beat at home. This was the one game I wasnt sure about for the survivor challenge.

NO vs Utah... these will be classics for years to come...
it doesnt get much better than a PG duel... and these guys love to go against each other.
deron has won the matchup this season, but CP has his number tonight!

NO is the real deal, ppl need to stop waiting for them to crash to reality cuz watching them 2night, wow, i dunno, they are sick with it tho.

The Kings court was in session again 2night... another Ho Hum night for mr overrated dropping 30, with 13 dimes and 8 boards... damn

Houston beats a team they should beat, but a good sign, keep the streak alive playoffs here they come!!

Lakers are human!! wow get blazed by the blazers, Roy and Aldridge both stepped up big, nice win for them.

Mutombo is the man, hes like 47 and in 2 starts hes had 4+13+4 and 4+6+4 blocks.

Not much on the slate tonight(saturday). Top teams in each conference vs teams they should/need to beat. PHI@PHX is probably the most watchable with PHX having a lot of rest up to this game and needing to win and play better.

How in the name of all things good and holy did Philly beat the Suns in Phoenix?

Fire D'Antoni, Shaq is soft, Nash is a dribbling douche, Hill is too old...

Dantoni's an idiot and so far has refused to change his halfcourt system to better suit their new style of team, which should be a team that pounds it inside and destroys teams with points in the paint and gets teams frontlines into foul trouble, but instead he has Shaq coming way out on the floor and setting picks and Nash is being double teamed because Shaq isnt a threat from 18 feet out obviously after he makes the pick. He needs to change the starting lineup and put Barbosa in instead of Hill to open up the floor if theyre going to continue to be an offensive machine otherwise its hard to see this working the way their offence is right now. I wont even get into how theyre playing D, its worse than the Raptors. D'antonis a sham.

Should be a pretty good day to watch some NBA ball(MAR 2):

DAL@LAL, 3:30, ABC- Another test for Dallas with Kidd in the lineup. Kidd should be guarding Kobe tonight so itll be interesting to see how much Kidd can get out and run or if hes tired. Theyre very evenly matched like most of the West so it should be a great game with playoff like atmosphere like most of the West matchups have been this year. Its too bad ABC didnt pick a better game to start the double header(CHI@CLE )

ATL@BOS, 6:00pm, LP- ATL has looked better recently and could be finally finding their groove and all the pieces starting to fit now with Bibby acclomated to their lineup. Boston has struggled at times with very athletic swingman and this is the team that has a million of them. Boston destroyed them the first game but expect this one to be closer now that they cant just clog the lane completely. Josh Smith and KG guarding eachother will be worth the price of admission anyway.

DEN@HOU, 6:00pm, ESPN, LP- I think this game will show if Houston still has a shot at making the playoffs or not without Yao. DEN attacks the paint and attacks the boards hard and although Houston's D is very good even without Yao itll be a tough test for them to slow down Camby on the boards with Deke out of the game resting and Melo and AI off the dribble with the lack of interior presence. I think Tmacs gonna go off though with Anthony Carter or Melo guarding him so it may not matter.

POR@GSW, 9:00 pm, LP- Roy is back and theyre coming off a fantastic win vs the Lakers. GSW has been on and off without Biedrins in there. Another solid Western matchup that should come down to the final seconds.

Great end to the Lakers-Mavs game...

The Heat are currently killing the Kings. Would be their 3rd win in 4(the loss being against the Lakers)... Look like the Marion effect is finally kicking in. They'll be back in the playoffs next year IMO.

Yeah, did you see Dirk's response to the crowd when he hit that three?

He screamed at them "Fuck you bitches"

something about him rubs me the wrong way, him and his flopping on the ground looking for calls, like one he got against Odom where Odom barely touched him, and his "im so tough" image, i would like to see some1 bust him in the mouth
