Tonight's(Feb5) big games(both on tv):

BOS@CLE, 7:00, The Score- With or without KG it should be a good one. Ray Allen is finally starting to find his groove and Bostons D has shown it can keep them in any game. I expect a CLE win though unfortunately. Fucking boring ass cavs.

LAL@NJN, 7:30, Rapstv- Pau Gasol gets the start and gets his first taste of the triangle. Marv should be announcing this game whichll make it all the more better.

Wow, I watched the lakers game and Pau and fisher were sweet. Kobe only scored 6 points and they won by 15. This is what he wants, no need for Kobe to have ALL the scoring pressure. Kobe had 8 assist s but he should have had 15. Pau 24 points 12 rebounds 4 assist, and a lot of chemistry with Bryant.

The Cavs are everything wrong about the NBA. I cant fucking stand how they give it to Lebron, and isolate the entire fucking game. He dribbles out the 24 second clock and they either hit contested 3's or he does it on his own. I dont ever say somehting like this, but I hope Lebron gets injured and they dont make the playoffs. I just cant stand how they play. It's like KO ball but with a superstar. Just UCH. Woulda been sick if the Celts beat em without KG, too bad Rondo fucked up last 2 plays after playing so well the rest of the game.

Gasol looked smooth as ever.

Nice to see CV get the start and produce(16+16). IMO he's as good as David West is right now. If he was on NO instead of West he'd be putting up the same kind of numbers IMO. Once he goes on to a good team(which I hope he'll choose to do this offseason instead of going to a mediocre team thatll pay him more) his true value will show. He needs a hardass coach and a great PG that can get him in the flow early so he wont just disappear through stretches. I'm pulling for CV.

WOW, if the playoffs are anything like tonights NO/PHX and UTA/DEN games we're in for the best playoffs in 2 decades.

Unbelieveable finishes in both.

Williams hits a 3 to tie it in regulation, Melo misses a wide open 2 to win it, then Utah grinds it out in OT.

In PHX, Nash and Barbosa hitting insane 3's to tie it up in 1OT and especially Barbosas shot in 2OT, Horry like. Then Peja hits the turnaround J to win it. Unbelieveable.

Every West matchup lately has been like this besides NO/UTA a day ago.

NBA is BACK BABY.

i picked him on my fantasy team with my last pick... number 100 something... just for shits and giggles... and he's been the biggest surprise!
he's like 3rd in 3pointers in the league.
he's having a great comeback year.
CP3 is revitalizing him.

Just an awful loss for GSW. I dunno whats more amazing, CHI winning without their top 3 guys or Chris Duhon scoring over 30 points.

If GSW doesnt make the playoffs by a game or two(which, it looks like, the 9th/10th teams in the west wont be more than 2 games out of 8th by the end of it all) they can look back to this game and the MIN game at home that they lost. PATHETIC

I still think when it's all said and done Golden State will end up missing the playoffs. Utah will get in there somehow. They're just too damn good and imagine a first round match up of New Orleans and Utah (Deron v. Paul). Damn, that would be awesome.

Utah is already in. Theyve won like 10 in a row and have only lost like one game since Kutcher arrived.

IMO the locks for the playoffs are: PHX,SA,DAL,LAL,UTA,NO

And the teams fighting it out for 7 and 8: GSW,HOU,DEN,POR

I'm close to putting Houston in the lock category but cant until Tmac goes 2 weeks straight being healthy. Theyve also won like 11/12 though, so its hard to imagine they dont make it, so theres only one spot left, and I like GSW unless DEN makes a move. I fucking hate how Denver plays. IMO the only two teams out of those 10 that arent capable of making it a series/having the potential to upset somebody is DEN/POR, so hopefully they miss the party.

Tonights(FEB 8) Games:

LAL@ORL, 7PM, LP- LA's coming off a tough loss and ORL has been tough at home lately besides the DAL game. This should be a great one.

BOS@MIN, 8PM, ESPN, LP- KG wants to play but its unlikely. MIN almost beat BOS at home and will likely come out of the gates strong with another great effort vs everyones former team it seems.

POR@DET, 8PM, LP- If POR keeps it close to the end I'll be impressed. Detroits won 6 straight and POR's been struggling lately. If they keep it close they should have a good shot with their excellent record in regards to winning games by 3 points or less.

UTA@SAC, 10 PM, LP- SAC was rolling until SEA came in and bombed them which was probably the biggest surprise of the week. Utah hasnt had much success at Arco, but has won 10+ straight. Should be a fun to watch, high scoring affair.

Oh yeah, and WAS/DEN is on all the Sportsnets at 1030 but there isnt much to talk about there with DEN being basically guaranteed to win.

"Big Baby" Davis has to be the steal of last summer's draft. This kid is playing incredible defense this afternoon against the Spurs and playing extremely well.
