Wizards Arenas Says He Won't Return If Jamison Doesn't

Uh-oh ... trouble in paradise for the Wiz?

it makes sense... Jamison is one of the most underratedplayers in the league.
he's put up 20/10 for how many years in a row....?
gilbert knows that the wiz would be terrible without jamison on the squad and he's reaching that point in his career where he knows he's going to have to be on a good team in order to be a legitimate superstar.
the wiz are going to be poor....
maybe we can steal one of the two.

Meh, I wouldnt want either.

Gil is now an injury risk and just would not work at SG, and we already have our 4 man, and Jamison cant play the 3 fulltime.

Gilbert will be a Clipper when the offseason is over.

That's not the "Clipper" way. But if Brand and Maggs both stay, adding Arenas would make the Clips a very exciting team to watch..and isn't LA Arenas' hometown?

One or both will be gone, and if you remember Arenas actually flipped a coin last time he was a free agent to decide on WAS/LAC and the coin said WAS. Maybe this time the coin will say LAC.

the clips will let Maggette walk this summer.
Sterling is notoriously cheap, and Maggette's gonna want a big pay day. With Thornton, maggette isnt needed.... brand will come back as PF, and Kaman at C. the SF position is Thornton's now.
the clips need a pg badly, they'll use maggette's money on a pg.
look for baron to opt out and get a huge offer from LAC.

That's a pretty big scoop. What about TJ for the Clips #1? And then they can overpay Gilbert.

Next season
C -Kaman
PF - Brand
SF - Thorton
SG - Arenas
PG - Ford

I know, pipe dream, but a brotha can dream, can't he?

what pick do the clips have this year?
i wouldnt mind trading TJ for a top 10...
how about we trade TJ and our 1st rounder to LAC for Maggette and their 2nd rounder?

Not unless Maggs signs long term. He has a player option for next season.

He's an explosive scorer, great athleticism, plays decent D. I'd say he's like a Dwayne Wade type player.

I guess all 6'4 scorers will now be compared to Wade.

That's the prescedent. Although NBAdraft.net is comparing his game to Mitch Richmond.

You know what mynbadraft.com says about Gordon?

Quote:
A more athletic Ben Gordon and Mitch Richmond, with less size than Richmond.
Looks like it's basically saying the same shit.

They also have the Raps taking CDR while passing on Batum. I don't see that happening.
