what good would he do here? The guy doesn't play any D, and he's not as good a shooter as Peja.... what's the point. Don't think he's a passer either.

I don;t think he would fit in here unless as a mentor to the Young Onez on how not to blow a fortune that you earn playing in the NBA.

Dude makes $110,000,000 over his career and goes broke.

Former Celtics star Antoine Walker is broke and in debt - Ball Don't Lie - NBA - Yahoo! Sports

Unbelievable about these athletes.

I'm sure but it's still kinda sad. Young black athletes probably coming from the hood, then given millions, don't know how to be responsible with their money.

In the article, Walker was also described as being generous.

Quote:
But Walker's lavish lifestyle wasn't all "me-me-me." He was also a generous friend and teammate who had custom suits made for coaches, routinely picked up giant team dinner tabs and, when there were funds to spare, gave to underprivileged youngsters. He was basically spending money like it was going out of style.
Unfortunate

Happened to Pippen, Coleman, among others, too.

I started to go the route you did then stopped, but glad you did.

It's easy to criticize, but Walker sounds like he dropped as much on other people as he did on his Bentleys. I always tell people, first thing I do if I win the lottery is hire a kick ass accountant.

I wish these guys would do the same.

You'll be joining Antoine Walker on the list of ex-millionaires when the 'kick ass accountant' rips you out of your money.

If you win the lottery, you quit your job and dedicate one hour out of your time in a day to manage your damn money.
