He'd be a nice young piece for any team, it seems NY has stunted his growth by hooking him up with 9MPG as opposed to the 22MPG he received last year. I heard nothing but praises about the guy in Golden State and now he's in the doghouse in New York. We don't really need another power forward though.

There is something so seductive about this dude's game. New York just doesn't have any room for him (Chandler, Fields, Gallo), unless Denver wants him in a package for Melo. I think he's definitely capable of a Bayless-type renaissance if we bring him in and throw some consistent burn his way.

Yea that trade would be awful for the Raptors but it would be amazing for Kleiza to be a Knick. I think he would be able to consistently play the PF off the bench there with Amare at C.

I think NY will get Carmelo for Eddy Curry, Randolph and Gallinari or Chandler

Knicks Could Get Pick For Randolph To Use In Trade For Melo

The Knicks are in talks to trade Anthony Randolph for a first-round pick which can be used to help land Carmelo Anthony in New York.

The team has received calls from several Western Conference teams regarding Randolph. A Knicks source tells Frank Isola that the most compelling discussions have been with the Rockets, with one scenario seeing the Knicks re-acquire the first-round pick they traded to Houston before last year's trade deadline.

The pick could be a critical piece that allows the Knicks to finalize a trade with Denver for Anthony.

Randolph acknowledged to the media Friday that he is aware that "a couple of teams" have expressed interest in trading for him.

"I think that's Donnie decision," Mike D'Antoni said about potential moves. "He's more removed from the situation. Coaches don't have a good perspective on when you need to do it and when you don't need to do it."

He's got the height of a power forward but he's not that big though. He still relatively skinny and he has some speed to him.

I'm pretty sure he played a lot of SF in college too.

A lotta Blazer fans over here freak out about A. Randolph.
Ooooh, trade this Blazer, and a draft pick to get that guy! He's sooo great!!

I haven't seen it yet. I've seen him have decent games, but I've seen him play disasterous as well. He's a good shot blocker, but that can lead down the path of early foul trouble.
