![]() They will soon have every player approaching 40 with creaky body parts. I suspect a bionic super team. Buss saw wonder woman cheering for the Heat and said "get me Lindsay Wagner - and tell her to be prepared to reveal all she knows!"

![]() I would have loved to see Mayo with the Lakers but Jamison still makes their team better.
Also,it opens up the possibility of packaging World Peace with Bynum in a blockbuster deal for Dwight Howard and others, now that they have Jamison who could start at the 3 and provide more offense than Metta |

Besides, that is a potential line-up. I can see Jamison being the 6th man off the bench and be a real anchor behind Gasol. If the Lakers need him to be a stretch 4 then you play him with Nash/Kobe/MWP/AJ/D12 and have the 3/5 cover is defensive lapses. There are so many possible line-ups that I think people are just pointing out a number of different scenarios depending on match-ups. |

I think they're going to play him in a similar fashion to what they did with Odom in terms of his position. When Bynum gets his first breather late in the 1st qtr, Jamison will come in at the 4 and Gasol will switch to the 5, and then Bynum will replace Gasol early in the 2nd qtr, and Jamison will play approximately 24-26 mpg as the primary(only) big off the bench. Honestly if I was LA I would have re-signed Hill instead. He's not only a better fit, but likely more valuable and better production wise in the same role. |

![]() I think Thriller is likely pointing out the fact that Jamison couldn't guard his shadow last year even playing the 4. They'd need to cherry pick match-ups to have him out there at the 3.

![]() Oh no worries Grizz, we know what Thriller is saying. All I was saying that with D12 and Gasol behind him and Kobe in front it wouldn't surprise me to see Jamison used at the 3 like a stretch 4. All Jamison really has to do is steer his man into one of those three. No biggie. I'm sure we'll see this and a plethora of other combinations.

![]() He hasn't been all that glorious offensively either. His best days are behind him. And the Lakers didn't have a great defense without him, I don't know if they really want to sacrifice defense for the sake of questionable returns offensively.

I would like to see what his averages are on a very good team and not the focus for other teams defensive schemes. I'll wager his % goes back up to his career average of 45% though his rpg may dip if he plays with D12, if not I can see 7+ rpg. That's pretty good for a 36 year old and he certainly won't have to work so hard to score on the Lakers. |
