oden, roy, grant hill and others disagree, being a dick is not justified.

I never said they weren't dirty plays.

I don't understand the hoopla caused by taking a three. I liked what the poster said on page 2. Maybe Bynum is fed up with Bryant trying to play the game 5 on 1, and having these ridiculously bad shooting nights as of late.

The hoopla isn't caused by taking a bad 3. That shot, which was a bad shot and a shot he shouldn't take, led to him being pulled from the court, which was the correct decision. It was a shot someone he shouldn't have taken.

Then the 'hoopla' was caused by him being a douche and saying, essentially, fuck what coach thinks, I'll continue to do stupid shit like that on the court. THAT's why it's a big deal. He thinks he's bigger than the team and bigger than the coach.

This is a loser's mentality, plain and simple.

Are MJ and Kobe 'selfish, immature' players as well?

He made one the game before, felt good about it and wanted to try again. Plain and simple.

He won't take another three this year, he's just having the fun with the media, he wants too play, he knows shooting threes isn't a way to do that.

I don't think you're understanding the seriousness of those plays. Cheap shots happen. But the shit Bynum does is potential career ending shit. When you're grounded, that's when you have the lowest center of gravity. But when you're in the air? A 5' 10" dude against a 7 footer? Getting hit in his sternum? That is some dangerous shit right there. Potential career ending shit if he lands awkwardly. Did you see what Bynum did to G Wallace and Beasley? Bynum's a pittle prick. Watch this shit:

Wallace had a collapsed lung and had to be taken to the hospital...

Here's the Beasley one:

Bynum is so lucky Beasley didn't get seriously hurt on this play. Just watch at :51 seconds and look at the way Beasley was falling and you'll see how close that was to a serious injury. Thing with Bynum is, it's not like he did it just once, he's done it multiple times. That kind of shit should not be tolerated, period..for the sake of other player's health...

What world are you living in? Bynums as dirty as they come. He could have chosen to make a basketball play on those drives, and instead he drove his elbow and his full weight in to them trying to cause injury. He's lucky none of them had a horrible injury sustained from the foul and the fall.
Anyone who has played basketball on any level would agree with this. The shit Bynum does to those guys is absolutely bush league shit like Mike Tirico said. Imagine someone did the to Kobe? Or LeBron (if that's even possible)? Or Bargnani? I know us Raptors fans would be mad as hell if someone Bynum's size did that to Bargnani. It's just wrong. And Bynum's done it multiple times. And I remember he said he wasn't even sorry after that cheap shot on Barea. He's a talented player, but he's an idiot.

I was mad as hell when it happened to TJ, and that was meant as a play on the ball.

I was going to mention that. I was pissed that day too. And you could clearly tell Horford had no intention of causing harm. Bynum on the other hand...

And do you think the coach was pleased about that first one? He probably told him not to shoot it again. And of course he does it again.

And having fun with the media, saying essentially, fuck what coach thinks isn't the smartest thing to do.

You're kidding me right? Are you really comparing kobe and MJ to Bynum? Really?

And a loser's mentality? Can you explain what you mean to me? I'm really, really interested since all you've contributed to this discussion are two youtube videos and a shot at the board.

I agree they're dirty, I just don't think people should be taking shots at a guy off the court for his on the court actions is all. He seems like a pretty nice guy in interviews, doesn't come off as a prick too me.

lol after watching all those cheap shot videos i realize how much of a pussy bitch bynum is. he leans in and throws up the elbow and turns his face and body the other way. like come on.... he couldn't even face the guy like a man. i mean, theres never a place for this in the game but if ur gonna do a cheap shot at least have the balls to face the guy....jeez.
and also, hes a repeat offender. i'm actually surprised there hasn't been any retaliation from other teams. seriously, if this was any other sport, hockey, baseball or football, he would have to pay physically for what he did. and as a result he would then think twice about pulling the same shit again

I fucking hate him, he is a dirty piece of shit. We are talking about a guy who not only has purposely injuried players in the past, but also parks in handicap spots at the supermarket because he is to much of a lazy fuck to walk to a store like a average citizen. And for those who don't know the story google it and you will see. A millionaire acting like a prick. Fuck Andrew Bynum.

And another one:

Report: Lakers fine Andrew Bynum for 'numerous infractions' - CBSSports

Quote:
One of the stunts that warranted the fine from the team was Bynum blowing off a meeting with Lakers general manager Mitch Kupchak.

Bynum told ESPNLosAngeles.com he was unaware of the fine before getting into his car outside the Lakers practice facility and driving away following the team's shootaround in preparation for their game against the New jersey Nets on Tuesday.

It's been one act of pointless rebellion after another for Bynum.

Bynum's battles with immaturity are a mile long. He began the season suspended for a dirty hit on J.J. Barea during last year's playoffs and he has a lengthy list of traffic violations.
Blow off a meeting with one of your bosses. Anyone still on this clowns side? I really hope he gets what's coming to him shortly.

What an ass. If the Lakers are smart they'll explore trades in the off-season.

I wonder how a Rondo/Bynum trade would have looked for both teams... Lakers would have gotten smaller, but I think they would have been better. And Boston would finally have a legit C.

Wow. Never. I would never trade Bynum for Rondo. Pau for Rondo is iffy for the Lakers....no way you trade Bynum, the second best center, for a point guard who can't shoot and has had his fair share of locker room problems. Plus, no way Lakers would even consider it...not only because it's a terrible trade, but you would instantly make the Celtics the best team in the east. Boston. You know, the Lakers' biggest rivals?
