One of these days I would really like to see the Lakers come out on the losing end of a trade.

I heard Oden is getting his degree in sports science. Philly can always sign him to help Bynum with his knee issues.

Bynum Could Be Out Until March With Rest One Year With Surgery - RealGM Wiretap

Quote:
Andrew Bynum's agent continues to keep the specifics of his client's knee issue a secret.

All of the publicly available information on Bynum suggests a probable diagnosis of osteochondral lesions says one of the nation's top orthopedic surgeons, a condition that may keep Bynum out for the season.

The condition could heal on its own within four to six months, but that would keep Bynum out until March or April.

The surgeon said that surgery could keep him from playing for up to a year.

Bynum should know whether he needs surgery by December.

The surgeon spoke on condition of anonymity because Bynum is not his patient.

Default Bynum now out indefinitely

..........with no timetable for return.

I think he should just text out pictures of his penis and call it a career.

With Andrew Bynum's return date remaining an entire mystery, a rival NBA general manager said the Philadelphia 76ers have made trade inquiries about acquiring a starting caliber center.

Bynum will be an unrestricted free agent in the offseason and is likely to receive a max contract offer even if he doesn't play a single game this season.

"They got to be a little panicked now," one GM said. "They could get a really interesting deal for him. I could see them doing that."

He did for like 4 years.
Well, he was a Center, didn't really 'play' it well.

It's funny how they traded a prospect 7 footer Nikola Vucevic to Orlando who is now 3rd in the league in rebounding for an injured Bynum LOL

Andrew Bynum is ready to resume basketball workouts next week.

Bynum's agent, David Lee, told the Associated Press on Monday that there's "not a concern in the world" that Bynum will be ready for training camp.

The Philadelphia 76ers have not held any discussions with Bynum's agent.

Bynum will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason after missing the entire 13-14 NBA season.

I know right? Can you imagine if the GM had just left well enough alone, made some adjustments, even sliding Brand to PF and went with Holiday, Young, AI, Brand, Vucevic? This year could draft Shabazz or maybe Noguiera.

I'm actually hoping Bynum stays in Philly and they draft Shabazz who seems to have slipped to a fringe lottery player. Holiday, N.Young, Shabazz, T.Young, Bynum would be a great line - able to play small ball or half court.
