I never understood, this about people.. You don't like Andrea, that's kool and all, but why openly root for him to fail? Would it actually bring you some kind of self-gratification to see him fail?

Even after getting booed, he never dissed the Raptors.. You don't have to praise him or even care about him or think he'll do good, but it's kinda petty.

I totally agree. He was here for a few years it just didn’t work out as we all hoped. BC was the one who drafted him with the # 1 pick and then extended him. Also, back then even his contract at 10M/ yr didn’t look terribly bad. Especially now when we have Rudy and DD who are also volume shooters…and Fields of course, all with hefty salaries. Time to get over it and move on. I wish him all the best in NYC. This franchise and its fan base will never be successful if people can’t look forward, learn from the mistakes and move on.

Bargnani never tried when he was here so I could care less about him. I don't even care if he becomes a decent player anywhere else that trade for us was a steal. Good 3 point shooter in Novak, one 1st rounder and two 2nd rounders, I'll do that trade every day of the week. (Camby + Richardson = get that garbage out of here )

I'm not rooting for him to fail. I'm rooting for the knicks to fail. I always have. Having Andrea be a part of that is just gravy. It might be petty. A lot of being a fan is like that.

I don't know what they're doing with Andrea in the starting lineup - he's completely changed the dynamic of a team that was 54-28 last year.

It's pretty obvious, Chandler is hurt and they lack legitimate bigs while being too cheap to sign somebody off the wire because they're paying so much for Smith's little brother.

The worst part of Bargs was that he was picked first overall and made the face of the Raptors. Neither of which he had any say.

BC is the villain in this drama. Leave Primo alone!!!

(I still love watching the knick phaile and phalee and fale!!!)

IMO, The thing about Bargs is that he has some grown ass men forcing him to play like a man. We don't or didn't have any hardened veteran players that won't accept anything but the best from their teammates. I guess you could say that we don't have any "Hard Motherfuckers" that hold their teammates to a high standard. We have Lowry and Gay and when they get mad at teammates, they seem like "bitches", if you will, not "HAMs".

Not saying I'm right but that's my theory.

They had a great time laughing at him during the showdown on Around the Horn today.

And you know it because you were there during team meetings? Just because he isn't a vocal doesn't mean he didn't try. No doubt he has deficiencies and isn't worth the # 1 but just because he isn't a franchise player nor a leader doesn't mean he never tried, this is an assumption, not a fact.

The gametime panel pointed out how he defended with his back to the ball. A full 24 hours of scorn heaped upon him, and i would say he is trying.

All this is vindicating my stance that Collangelo destroyed what was potentially a great thing with Mitchell/Bosh et al, Bargnani really was really really bad.

I don't find people that want to see Bargnani fail odd or strange. I do find the fanboys still defending him or asking the world to leave poor Bargnani alone to be rather funny.

There is no reason to feel sorry for him but people who wish him to fail are just stupid. He isn't our problem, and I follow him in a same way I follow Jack, JC, Bosh and other players we had here in the past. I am not even a fan of his style, but those people just need to grow up, really.

Who needs to wish him to fail? He has proven without a doubt that he can fail all on his own. The joy comes from seeing it somewhere else.
