Default Amir Johnson to Bucks for Oberto

Amir Johnson to Bucks for Oberto happens.
RealGM: Basketball Wiretap Archives: Detroit Trades Amir Johnson To Bucks
Quote:
The Bucks have flipped Fabricio Oberto to the Pistons in exchange for Amir Johnson, according to a source.

Oberto was acquired by Milwaukee from San Antonio earlier on Wednesday.

RealGM Note: The move will save Detroit in their salary cap space pursuits, as Oberto's contract is non-guaranteed.

Wtf.

Amir Johnson is probably one of their best big men who picks up the slack when Rasheed is too pussy to rebound.

Well I don't know Oberto's game much so we'll see who won in this trade.

I am completely lost on what Miluakee is trying to do. Is Miluakee trying to rebuild or what? This is confusing.

Milwaukee moved Jefferson to give them room to re-sign Villanueva and Sessions. Now they've flipped Oberto for a young PF with some upside.

The whole purpose of the 1st trade was to save money and they did that. Then they go out and lose money in this trade.

I'm looking at their salaries and assuming they don't want to pay the tax, i think they might only have enough money to re-sign one. Sessions had a better season, but then again this is a PG-heavy draft and CV might be cheaper to re-sign. Really looking forward to seeing what they do with their pick.

And Dumars has to have something up his sleeve.

I think people have lost their mind. On a realgm forum, ppl are saying that Boston got Gay for Rondo and some other pieces. I think people have lost it. Here's the link if it matters.

Oberto has a 50% guaranteed deal, so Detroit will buy him out to save cash!

Detroit saves 1.9 mil in this deal. Pretty small but it could matter if they make a move with their capspace. They're definitely up to something.

I think Oberto is staying with Detroit b/c they only have $34 mil in guaranteed contracts

OK they releasing him

WOW two teams in a day. He was prolly pissed now the Spurs are prolly going to sign him back. Also, I think Detroit has a really big plan. I expect a lot of signings and a lot of trades coming up
