HA! how suprising? He's out for the season because of "injury". Who thinks that bullshit?

I call bullshit on that one. He's been asked to stay home and count his money. Too funny!

Dumars is doing exactly what needs to be done, get rid of the big B B B B B BIllups contract, get rid of AI, get ready to sign a LBJ or someone else...

If the Laker's don't win the title this year I can see Iverson giving up some money on his contract to go to the Lakers.

Problem with AI as a Laker (or anywhere!) is that a little guy like him should be a pass first play maker. Lakers need their little men to set up plays and dish. Scoring comes second. Iverson's head just doesn't work that way, unfortunately. To be honest, I don't see him being happy anywhere he goes.

Having scoring prioritized around a 5'10 players is interesting, but in the big picture it just isn't sustainable. Back when AI was young and spry, he could pull it off. But as players age, they have to start using their heads more, and when you're only 5'10, that means playing like a Chris Paul or Jason Kidd.

AI just doesn't have that kind of mind. So it's time to retire, I think.

He will probably go to the Bobcats next year to join Larry brown and they will do well for sure. Hes the kind of player they need.

I'd love to see that work out. AI was truly a special talent. It's just he's kind of a misfit. I don't mean with the braids and hip-hop style. I just mean the way he plays. A little guy shooting that much is very unusual, almost an anomaly.

The only way he can be good again if he's traded to a team where the starting lineup is Quincy Douby, Voshkul, Michael Olawakandi and Krapono.

he's only good for carrying teams on his shoulders.

lol you're right. he can't work with a team that has other quality players, he has to be the center of the team, the focus of everything. that's why he wasn't on the olympic team :P
