Allen Iverson on the move?

There are indications that the Denver Nuggets would trade Iverson if the right deal came along. With an expiring contract of 20.84 million,he would be an ideal acquisition for a team looking to clear salary cap room next summer. The Nuggets would be looking for first round draft picks and/or young prospects.

Theres only a few teams that could need him and where he fits/they could actually get him, those being:

CHA/CLE/HOU/NYK/OKC are the only teams I could see wanting/getting him. A Larry Brown/Iverson reunion would be interesting to see, and theyre probably fed up with Felton by now so it makes sense. CLE needs another scorer, HOU needs a 3rd scorer, NYK needs anything they can get at the guard position, and OKC needs another scorer and a guy that would take some pressure off Durant.

Any teams I missed?

I'm just saying like a Jermaine O'neal and Iverson swap. Afterwards I said NEVER.
Some one with a huge salary like Jermaine is what I meant.

A sign and Traded Okafor and Felton for Iverson would work.

But I would be more scared of a trade with Clevland, mabey Wallace and Wally for AI and NENE.

I don't think CHA does Okafor and Felton for Iverson. Iverson is one of those guys that you bring in to complement your team to put them over the top. I know they want to get rid of Felton, but bringing in Iverson... I don't know.. doesn't make much sense.

Iverson is a team crippler.
firstly, he is not a winner IMO... and secondly his contract is HUGE.
so anyteam that takes him is going to lose alot to get him, or end up in Denver's situaton now and have a payroll that is way too high.
remember when Denver got him? they were so happy.... AI and Melo together! LOL... look how that turned out.
AI is not the guy who will put a team over the top... in fact he hurts a team more then helps, IMO.
look at Philly, they are laughing now that he's gone... and are a better team without him... plus they saved a bunch of money getting rid of him and his huge contract.

That trade makes far, far too much sense for both teams. They'll never pull the trigger.

I really like that idea from both sides though. Okafor is gone next summer anyway and they already drafted Feltons replacement. And they seriously need to generate some interest.

Denver needs a point guard. Badly. And they could use Okafor now that Camby's gone.

That's a good proposal though in my opinion.

If Denver wants cap relief and are calling the experiment a failure then how about this:

(With Cleveland)

Iverson
K-Mart

for

Szczerbiak (expiring)
Ilgauskas
Damon Jones

And Okafor has said he want out now.

A guard attack of Iverson, Richardson and Wallace would be crazy(GSW in the East)
