He is most overrated player in the league IMO. Love scores a lot in the shitty team, just like Bargs do. He is terrible defender, his FG% is low, and no any wolf can't rebound. He is probably best rebounder there is, but still, when you have Beasley, Pekovic and Darko as your sidekicks, it helps to get 1-2 extra rebound a game.
Bargnani can't rebound for beans, but Amir doesn't get 15 boards a game.
Since when was 46% low? This guy shoots the lights out from 3 as well.

Dude... Darko averages like 6, and Beasley averages about 6 as well..

Im not saying he is good as Bargs. Love is better, thats sure. im saying, he is not so great.
well ok, Darko, beasley thing just proves what I said. Darko averaging 5.4, it's poor for a starting center. Ok, he starts with Love, he can average 7 boards a game IMO. But it's not great, just average. Darko is average rebounder, not terrible, not good either. And he is the best rebounder on that team after Love.
Beasley play 33 minutes a game, and his average is less than 6...
Come on, Love has worst rebounders on his team. He is outstanding rebounder, but I don't see he can set 15 boards average in the stronger team.

Love and LA got snubbed hard. It's understandable though because the West is so strong compared to a pretty weak East.

Wow Blake Griffin makes it and Kevin Love loses out. I like Griffin but Kevin love deserves it this year!

I'm not that upset about the East choices; they were remarkably close to mine with the exception of Joe Johnson over Raymond Felton, which was a close call anyways. Boozer simply missed too much time and doesn't effect the win % of his team as much as Bosh does - He's integral to the Heat's system.

I'm quite disappointed with the West though; simply put, Tim Duncan does not deserve to be an all-star this year and I don't think the Spurs would have lost more games without TD than the Timberwolves would have without Love. Without Love the TWolves are worse than the Cavaliers. Other than Love, who's clearly the biggest snub (and should be made a replacement if TD chooses not to play), I think it was rough leaving out Aldridge and Ellis too, but there are a lot of worthy players in the West.

Love to see Blake in there! I hope that makes him drop out of the Rookie challenge and Davis gets the chance!

Does not love to see so many "old" players in the game... Garnett, Duncan, Pierce, Allen, Dirk... Booooring! Of course the best players should be in the game so it's nobodys fault. But I would have loved to see players liks Ellis, Aldridge, Gay, Love, Curry or Evans in the game.

Well those old guys are all-stars in fullest sense. Maybe not very exciting to watch them play, but still they deserve it

It shows you how much stock David Stern is putting in Blake Griffin. I swear somebody was left out of all star game in the recent past, because he was a rookie and you could not establish yourself as an all star in a single season. He is totally deserving and he arguably is a much better member to the an star team then Kevin Love.

I heard on the NBA podcast Blake Griffen is using 2 members of his team ( in one dunk) in the dunk contest.

Kevin Love is a good player, but also the most overrated player in basketball. He's not an all-star yet.

I think his streak of double doubles begs to differ. His team just Hasen't won enough games, which puts him position were his claim to be all star can be questioned. Then you ask yourself what is this guy going to bring to an all star game. Rebounding?, Full court chest passes? 3 point shooting?

He an amazing player that should be there, but he is a box score guy who isn't going to give you the razzle dazzle performance David Stern wants to push at an LA all star weekend.

Razzle dazzle has nothing to do with it. Their are to many good rebounders in the league who also play great defense and then command double teams offensively, something Love doesn't do.

Kevin Love is a great role player, putting up all-star numbers on a bad team.

That's crazy talk. Role players don't bring down 30reb in a game, and average 21/15 @ 22yrs old. I don't give fuck what kind of team they're on.

He puts up great numbers, we all know that.

Does he command double teams in the post? No.

Can he put his team on his back when they need him to? No.

Does he consistently dominate the opponent at his position? Zack Randolph disagrees.

Fantastic rebounder. Fantastic role player.

But on a bad team he's featured offensively more than he should be and he's putting up nice scoring numbers. When you're playing from behind 90% of the time, you're going to find open shots.
