Love the skills competition and still think that only baseball beats it as an all-star weekend but the game itself I usually don't even watch to be honest. The only times I've watched to any degree was when Bosh or Vince were playing while they were here.

The game is the best part of the weekend now that the dunk contest sucks. The game has actually been really fun to watch the past few years with close games and the 4th quarters displaying good compettitive basketball with the other 3 quarters being the show.

I think the fan voting should only account for a portion of criteria. There has to be some statistical and some player/ coach in put. It's turning in to a popularity contest. How the fuck is Marc Gasol and Varejao not in the voting. We should just abandon the east/ west and have the them ware Lakers/ Celtics jerseys.

I think I read that Kobe has played 17 seasons and made the all-star team 15 times. It helps to be a Laker I guess.

This isn't the All-NBA game guys, if someone really good isn't starting it just means a majority of people didn't want to watch them play big minutes.

If Paul Pierce makes the reserves over Paul George, the NBA should really reconsider capping the number of players big market teams are able to put up as possible candidates. I think its really discouraging for the fans of those teams and players.

KG is averaging 14 and 7.
Ramon Sessions on the Bobcats is averaging 14 points a game. Does he get the All-Star starting spot? No. Does he even get to be in the All-Star game? Oh hell no!!

Sessions is a PG, good luck getting a spot at that position anytime soon with the likes of Rondo, Wade, D-Will in the EC
