I hope nobody pays him 6+ mil because it would mean he'll likely be a Raptor next season.

Quote:
The Indiana Pacers have declined to extend a qualifying offer to Evan Turner, making him an unrestricted free agent.

Turner's qualifying offer was worth $8.7 million.

Turner was traded to the Pacers by the Philadelphia 76ers in February and failed to make a meaningful impact.

Turner was the No. 2 overall pick in the 2010 NBA Draft.

Chris Bosh’s 5-year deal with Miami expected to start at $11 million in year 1. Dwyane Wade will sign four years, $12 million in year 1
.

This could allow Miami to sign Lowry, no?

Who the hell is this guy? He also said LeBron will re-sign for max on a 1-2 year contract. And now saying Bosh will get paid less than Wade. I call BS.

yeah, honestly wade still makes alot off endorsements, whats 2 million really going to do to him. Bosh should be payed more.

also correct me if im wrong, but wont lebron taking max just basically restructure their salaries (between them 3) not the cap?

Wade opting out of $43 mill for next 2 seasons to get about $44 mill over 4 years? You really believe that?

Again, people need to stop panicking/overreacting. No legit source has confirmed this yet. Every year there's always this random douchebag trying to break a story and get more hits (trust me, I followed the Dwight Howard saga in 2012). I no longer believe reports until it's confirmed by someone legit.

Yeah, the Heat are telling FAs they have 12 mil to spend

Quote:
The Miami Heat are informing prospective free agents that they expect to have as much as $12 million in salary cap space to offer after getting LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh to re-sign.

With reports of James seeking a max contract around $20.7 million, the pay cuts that Wade and Bosh are willing to take are drastic.

Wade and Bosh were each scheduled to earn earn more than $20 million this upcoming season and a total of $40 million over the next two years.

On Tuesday, the Portland Oregonian reported that Bosh has plans to accept a five-year contract starting at $11 million, and Wade would accept a four-year deal starting at $12 million.

The Heat are angling to be serious bidders for Kyle Lowry.

12Mil total? If that's the amount they have to spend on ONE player then i'll worry but if that's on more than one player, I don't care.

Take it for the team is right!! If true I bet $100 there would be deals going down after his playing days to make up for it.

I don't think it's enough...not when they have Napier. Watch, NY won't want Boozer when Melo goes there so they'll amnesty him and he signs with the Heat for the Vet min. Sad face

Extra year won't mean much, Riles can say, I'll make it up to you on the next one, now let's go win a few titles
