They would probably need to throw in Lamb - maybe PJ3 instead.

Cavs need to quit dangling their stuff for everyone to see.
Zip it up, this is a professional business.

look if we can trade gay for the 1st overall pick or 3rd overall pick you have to do it, because the long term implications are much better than what's going now

if we get oladipo some how we become the winners of this years draft and that move will be remembered for decades,

I heard the cavs offered waiters, Thompson, and the 1st overall pick for kevin love, and i would do that trade for oladipo

when kevin love becomes a free agent he is gone, there pretty much guaranteed a rebuild on the fly for 1 player wolves are stupid for not doing it

alright I just re-read my post I got carried away but still believe kevin love will leave minny, so they have to do that trade

also I believe the Raptors have to make a move with a rudy gay trade to get into the top 3 picks

I just think the chance of getting a parker or wiggins next year out ways having rudy gay for two years not to mention we could get a top prospect in this years draft especially if its true Washington tried to trade from luol deng

The Orlando Magic and the Los Angeles Clippers have been discussing the possibility of completing a trade headlined by Magic shooting guard Arron Afflalo and prized L.A. point guard Eric Bledsoe in conjunction with Thursday's NBA draft, according to sources close to the process.

Sources told ESPN.com on Tuesday that a trade with those two players as the principals could happen as soon as this week and potentially could be expanded to include Magic forward Andrew Nicholson and a future first-round pick as compensation for the highly coveted Bledsoe.

Afflalo, nicholson and a 1st rounder for bledsoe, i'd definitely do that. (From clippers point of view.)

Coach Shaq?
Quote:
Owners of the Sacramento Kings are meeting with Shaquille O’Neal tonight in Sacramento.

Vivek Ranadive and Mark Mastrov sat down for dinner with the TNT analyst and former Los Angeles Lakers star at the Rosewood Sand Hill in Melo Park.

Three months after O’Neal said he thought the Kings were sold and gone at the NBA All-Star Game in Houston, the all-star center said he’s going to help tutor DeMarcus Cousins.

O’Neal said, “I’m going to make DeMarcus Cousins the best big man in the game.”

Actually, that might help. I'm not very high on Shaq's analytics in general. But the one thing that Shaq never stops talking about until everyone's ears start to bleed, it's that you have to attack the paint as a center, every possession.

That's what Cousins needs. If he stops taking a bunch of low % jumpers and just attacks from the block, where he's too strong or quick for anyone, he's an All Star.

Actually, I kind of like the approach.... they've got a basic framework involving specific players they are willing to move and are asking for an elite young player from each team that would fit nicely with their core. As long as they don't budge on adding more, why not go for it. It's more of a plan than we've had here.

So Doug Smith saying we could get a lottery pick, late 1st, or a 2nd rounder......way to hedge your bets there dougie.

Quote:
I’ve been told – and this is vague enough that I honestly believe it’s true right now – that they have their eyes on a guy or two who are possible lottery picks, they have a couple they wouldn’t mind getting late in the first round and there are a few in the second that have their interest.

Trouble is, I don’t have the names – those are impossible to come by right now – and the way this draft is shaping up, it’s entirely possible they won’t get to do a thing.

Would be amazing if we had the opportunity to pick in the 5-8 range with a shot at getting CJM or Trey Burke.... just sucks that we traded the pick that would have gotten us there. We should absolutely try and deal for it... and if we cut some salary in the process, even better. We've got plenty of SG to spare.

I've seen Burke compared to Kyle Lowry & Kemba Walker

Exactly.... would have been great. A guy of that quality on the cheap for four years.... huge value, especially for a capped-out team.

Fields for Hamilton, then buy him out for a mil?

The Chicago Bulls are drawing little interest in trying to use Richard Hamilton as a trade chip heading into the NBA draft.

Hamilton's $5 million contract for next season can be bought out for $1 million this offseason.

Hamilton still could be used in a larger trade.

#Bobcats GM Rich Cho says he is not "shopping" Kidd-Gilchrist but is fielding calls. That is what we call semantics.

What Rich Cho actually says:

Quote:
“No! We’re not shopping him,’’ Cho said on WFNZ-AM 610. “We get calls about all our players. It’s my job to take calls. We’re not shopping MKG.’’

Inside the NBA: Charlotte Bobcats GM Rich Cho refutes "shopping MKG'' story during WFNZ interview
There's a difference between saying "we take all calls about everything all the time" and "we are fielding calls for MKG".

Sheridan has become such a hack since he got fired from ESPN. He'll go to any length to attract readers to his blog. He's less reliable than Bleacher Report.
