If we sign him to a 6-7.5m I'm ok with it. He might take less money to play with Demar, they've been buddies forever.

Y! SPORTS

And DENs new GM has proven he's out of his mind. No one else was going to pay a backup center 5 million a season at this point in free agency. Bidding against himself, and the contract should have only been 2 years instead of 3 with the team option. Mozgov barely even played last year, and I like Mozgov as a player, but this is simply overpaying for no reason. If Mozgov didnt want to take a smaller deal, you'd still have Arthur and Hickson as backup bigs, which isn't bad at all.

I'd take Ayon for cheap.

Adrian Wojnarowski ✔ @WojYahooNBA

Phoenix and Indiana are engaged in serious talks about a trade that would send Luis Scola to the Pacers, league sources tell Y! Sports.

Marc Stein ‏@ESPNSteinLine

Early word on this Pacers-Suns deal is that Phoenix will receive Gerald Green and draft considerations in exchange for Indy-bound @LScola4

Bench. They are basically replacing Hansbrough and Gerald Green with Luis Scola and Chris Copeland.

This is pure win for Indiana. We'll see what picks they had to give.

Their bench is now CJ Watson / Granger or Stephenson / Copeland / Scola / Mahinmi and some youngsters. On paper, that's an impressive bench, and they already have one of the best starting units in the league.

I was expecting them to bid on Scola last year, they had the money. But either they didn't bid, or their bid was too small. It could be that Scola is a Bird guy, seeing how Bird wasn't around last summer. Either way, good for Phoenix. Nice use of amnesty to get some picks.

Yep, well said. Their bench was cringe-inducing during the Heat series. They've not only shored up that weakness, but made it a strength.

The Bucks still make everyone wonder what the hell they're doing. Look at their roster:

Ridnour, Ish Smith
Mayo, Neal, Wolters
Delfino, Antetokounmpo, Daniels
Ilyasova, Henson, Udoh
Sanders, Pachulia

Destined for 9th forever.

I'm kinda surprised Indy didn't go after Neal. I thought he would be an amazing fit there.
