Iggy took less than his market value so it seems fair to use Iggy's contract as the low end.

I agree that Deng is worth Iggys contract but not more. He's definitely a great 3rd option and one of the best defenders/rebounders/all around players at the 3. The Bulls would miss him a lot if he moved out to another team.

Free-agent center Sam Dalembert will meet with Dallas Mavericks officials on Thursday, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.

Dalembert, 32, is expected to meet with Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle and owner Mark Cuban at team's facility and has emerged as a target for them, sources told Yahoo! Sports.
After passing on making a significant offer to free-agent center Andrew Bynum on Wednesday, the Mavericks have been poised to quickly meet with Dalembert and possibly secure him as a stop-gap center for next season.

Dalembert averaged nearly 6.7 points and 5.9 rebounds for the Milwaukee Bucks last season. In 11 seasons in the NBA, including eight with the Philadelphia 76ers, Dalembert has averaged eight points and eight rebounds.

The Mavericks really struck out this offseason. They're stuck in that 11-13th seed with their current roster. They look like the Bucks+Dirk.

The Spurs got Belinelli last week. You guys need to keep me up to date in this thread. That is a very important NBA transaction.

Btw, I just realized that the Pistons still have their amnesty. Which surprised me since they gave their 2014 pick to the Bobcats in order to get rid of Ben Gordon. They could've just amnestied him if the owner was willing to spend money.

So, a random what if scenario. What if the Pistons owner spends some money and amnesties Ben Gordon. And they don't sabotage their pick with a meaningless win streak at the end of last season. Then they'd be in the exact situation as the Pelicans. They'd have the Noel pick + their 2014, and they could easily be the team that gets Jrue Holiday.

Imagine, Holiday, Knight, Caldwell Pope, Josh Smith, Monroe and Drummond. Now that's an elite defensive team with a ton of upside.

What a shame.

The Charlotte Bobcats are exploring sign-and-trade possibilities for restricted free agent Gerald Henderson.

Henderson’s representatives spoke with the Bobcats on Wednesday to discuss what the team might be prepared to pay him in a new deal.

Henderson scored in double figures in each of the Bobcats’ last 24 games, including 10 games of 20 or more points.
