I feel so bad for Jack. The kid can never find a home no matter how well he plays.

Crappy luck. We tried to deal Jose while he was here and MJ fucked that up. Now this......looks like they had to renounce him to sign Iguodala.

Jose
harden

howard

beverly comes in when jose struggles on D and harden carries the ball on offence, it's perfect. That is a contender imo. my rockets supporting friend is excited!

Ai is smart less money but a chance to win it.
and with that trade they should be at 60M.
if the S&t for D12, they will be under the tax, which is pretty good with ther team.
OKC really need a big men to compete now.

I'd take the GSW lineup over that one every day of the week.

Too bad....he was great for that team and they still need him. Wonder if/when they trade any or all of Bogut/Jefferson/Biedrins if they will sign him back.

Wow, Curry/Thompson/AI/Lee/Bogut is pretty awesome I think - esp. if JJ comes back. I think they are the dark horse for Howard now with AI in the starting 5, still think it's a long shot but damn - I didn't think they would score AI.

Nice. Still think Howard will go to Houston.

Not me, you shut the perimeter down and GS struggles, at least with Houston they have more offensive versatility from their backcourt.

On the surface the Iggy deal might look bad, but if it helps obtain Howard, then it's the cost of doing business. Yes, GS had a good thing going with Barnes and Klay on the wings, but by acquiring Iggy, it now makes Barnes available as a part of a package to dangle in front of the Lakers. Maybe the Lakers don't want Bogut's contract, for tax reasons. If so, bring in a third team and just take Barnes and a pick. If Howard leaves, it looks like he's going to end up in the West, so the Lakers can't get all butt-hurt about helping a conference rival. It's likely going to happen anyway.

Jose??

That Houston lineup. Shut down Harden you can beat them period. Smith likes the perimeter far too much and chucks it from there far too much and he also takes too many nights off.

not sure, they are pretty close.

JC/Harden/Chandler/Smith/D12

Curry/Klay/AI/Lee/D12

really hard to know which one would be the best.
but i prefer GSW type of play this past two season, so i would take GSW.

+1 I completely agree - wrote the exact same line with Beverly as the 6th guy at pg/sg.

It's to me, the best potential team for Howard though GS has suddenly closed the gap.

Jose<<<<Curry
harden>>>>Thompson (Closer then most think imo)
parsons<<<<Iguodala
j smith---------Lee (I think Smith has more talent, but Lee's energy and effort are better)
howard

Relax....I like them both I just have a preference for Houston. JC would look to include Howard a lot easier than Curry would. As for perimeter chucking that's GS's m.o., not the Rockets. Besides, I would love to see Smith try to take a night off with McHale as his coach.

Smith is superior to Lee.
Parsons has a ridiculous shot and not bad D so he and AI seem to balance out.
Harden has Thomson easily beat.
Curry has JC or Beverly beat.

2 different situations but to me, Houston still has that edge.

Your disgust for JC is clouding your judgement.

Parsons is by far the better shot now and plays ok defense, I think he and AI is a wash and Smith is better than Lee with his skill and come playoffs when it matters I want Smith over Lee.

re: Jarrett Jack

GS has to let Jack go if they sign Iggy outright with cap space. Unless they change the means of acquiring Iggy between now and July 10 when things are official, the Warriors will be operating as a team that was below the cap. That means they had to renounce birds rights cap holds on a bunch of players, including Jack, as well as the MLE.

So they can only sign Jack with cap space. They'd have to ditch Bogut or Lee to create that room, since those are the only expendable guys GS has left, who earn more than rookie contract money. Right now it looks like they are using Bogut as part of a Howard deal, so that possiblity is out.

If anybody is down for a PG controversy, maybe we can sign JJ to a $5 mill per year deal using the MLE.

Maybe, but imo he makes most teams worse. You hear it from Pistons fans and I know I saw it with him here. I will say though that if that happened i'd be happy for him because he's a great individual. That I have to admit. And no doubt they'd be a threat, but that GSW lineup to me is just better. The playoffs there would be insane with that lineup + their crowd. Would love to see it.
