Monta Ellis has received interest from the New York Knicks, Chicago Bulls, San Antonio Spurs, Denver Nuggets and Phoenix Suns as free agency began.

The Knicks only have the $3.2 million taxpayer mid-level exception available.

Ellis walked away from a deal that would have paid him $11 million next season with the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Warriors offered the Blazers a deal centered around David Lee and Brandon Rush for LaMarcus Aldridge, per Woj:

Late Sunday night the Portland Trail Blazers contacted the representatives of unrestricted free agent guard Tony Allen, a league source conveyed to CSNNW.com.

I don't think LA has a shot either. That was a circus last year and don't think he wants any part of that shit.

As far as basketball goes, they don't. But they can offer him much more $$$ than the other teams.

Next summer they have ridiculous amounts of cap room as their whole team is expiring except for Nash who expires in 2015.

Mehhhh, with this contract even at 80 or so million w/Houson or Dallas he'll have made 200mil in his career. Plus he's get more endorsements. And isn't there a lot less taxes in Texas?

There are Rumors that Knicks are interested in trading Chandler for Lee.. I don't think there's any true to it, but that would be hilarious!

The Golden State Warriors will not meet with Dwight Howard in free agency, according to a source.

It had been previously reported that Howard would meet with the Warriors.

The only way the Warriors could acquire Howard is via sign-and-trade, which the Los Angeles Lakers have repeatedly said they will have no interest in.

The Lakers, Houston Rockets and Dallas Mavericks are the only three teams considered to be serious suitors for Howard. The Atlanta Hawks will receive a meeting with Howard, but it appears it will only be as a courtesy.
