i agree completely... but his 'reasons' for leaving kinda underline the point of why i dont like him. imagine AI as Memphis' "jason Terry"... in a 6th man role.... they wouldve been deadly.

They had OJ Mayo.

OJ was starting when AI was on the team.
that being said, OJ should be a starter right now... and i guarantee next season he will be.

Right.

But you were agreeing with a point that spoke to this season's playoffs. FWIW, on the previous page, I said AI staying would have been interesting in 2009-2010. I think his presence would have been beneficial back then because the Grizz didn't have as much depth. After signing Tony Allen and pushing Mayo to the bench, I don't think Memphis had the necessary available playing time for Iverson to make much of a difference.

hes probably inspired by JJ barea, knowing that an undersized scorer can do some damage coming off the bench on a playoff team, and with iversons ego, he probably thinks hes a million times better than barea and hopes to show the world he can do so much better than him

i hope the lakers sign this guy, him artest, kobe would make interesting headlines

I wanted to see him stay on the Sixers. What the hell happened? After a month or so from his comeback, he just stopped playing.

who is the Grizzlies' backup PG? for the life of me, i cannot remember... which means whoever it is probably stinks.
i think AI playing 20 mins a night at the backup spot could of been huge... that is unless his ego could take a back seat and play behind Conley. which it couldnt 2 years ago.

What's you're out of the NBA loop it's pretty hard to get back in. Playing D-league Turkey and going back to the NBA won't happen. I would love to see it but no chance.
