Adelman's future in Houston unclear

While pleased by the development of his young team, Houston Rockets owner Les Alexander is holding off reaching a decision about bring back coach Rick Adelman for next season. He also said he has not discussed the matter with Adelman who is in the last year of his contract.

"The decision-making process that goes into it takes place after the season," Alexander said. "We haven't had any talks about it.

For his part, Adelman has said that he will also take time after the season is over to decide if he wants to continue coaching and if he wants to return to the Rockets.

I would love to have Adelman, don't know if BC will be willing to make the move though.

If he wouldn't hes dumb... why keep triano if we could actually have a good coach.

Considering Yao goes down yearly, no, not really. Hes done well with what he had to work with. You really think Triano is better? Lol...

Take a look at his teams records the last 5-6 season. He's had some pretty major injury issues there, they play in the west and have never finished a season under .500.

Why would we want him if he's here for possibly only 2 years max? He might be near the final stage of his career coaching.
