Have I mentioned that I'm excited about the playoffs yet?

Another toughie but I'm feeling Houston in 6. Something tells me T-Mac will average 34 ppg and keep Houston on the run.

I like what Adelman's done in Houston. My mind is telling me Utah, but my gut is saying the Rockets. So, Rockets in 7.

I would say Utah, but I really like the rockets, so GO ROCKETS in 7.

If this is the matchup its Jazz in 7. Neither team will beat the other on their homecourt, Houston will not win in game 7 unless Mcgrady has 50.

I think waaaaay too many people are sleeping on Utah. This is a solid team BUILT for the playoffs. They're tough, they have a great PG, have a dominant big man, are well coached and have a guy at the 2 who can make life difficult for others (Ronnie Brewer).

Plus, ever since the addition of Kyle Korver, they've honestly just taken off since then. It wouldn't surprise me if Houston goes out in 5 but I think T-mac's determination will keep them in. But it won't win them the series.

Utahs weak on defence most games and theyre the 2nd worst road team left in the West on the road. If they get to the 2nd round its gonna be really really hard for them to win since they have to win a game on the road, that and theyre probably gonna play the Lakers and they cant beat the Lakers.

Jazz in 6. The Curse of T-Mac lives on. Jazz have too many weapons that the Rox can't compete with.

Title needs to be changed, Houston has homecourt, that could mean everything. Tmac might get out of the first round!!!

Didn't Houston have homecourt last season as well? I could be completely wrong, but I thought these two teams met last season and H-town had home court but still lost.

Yeah youre right, both teams won every game on their homecourt but then Hou lost at home in game 7. It didnt help that they put Yao on Boozer all series though, I think if Rafer is back and with Houstons quickness on defence they could give Utah a lot of problems. I think this is another series that could go 7, as long as Mcgradys shoulder is feeling a bit better.

If Alston's out for the first couple games, that could be trouble. Utah really just needs one win in Houston and it's almost lights out.

I'm pretty sure the Adelman Kings had a good record vs the Jazz too, that could be another huge factor with Adelman having a ton of experience vs the Utah system in the past.

I think the key to the series is the Boozer matchup and how healthy Tmac is. I think Chuck Hayes and Landry could give Boozer a lot of trouble.

Ok who am I kidding the entire series is dependant on the play/health of Tmac. Game 1 we'll see how ready he is.

After tonight, things don't look good for Houston. Losing by double digits opening at home is horrible any way you spin it, but with Utah being impossible at home this puts them in the deathgrip after one game.

I think Utah is probably just better anyways. D Will > Tmac on his own, and then throw in Boozer, Okur, AK if he plays like tonight (holy shit, he's alive!), and a good bench, and it's tough.

Unbelieveable game. Landry gets his teeth knocked out but comes back and gets the game winning block. Sick.

Boozer was open under the basket on that last Utah play, Houston caught a HUGE break
