+1

Nazr Mohammed i gues at a cheap price would be ok as a backup to Valanciunas, and maybe Nash on a reasonable two year deal if we can really upgrade the SF position significantly. But that's about it at best.

Mohammed is the only guy that would realistically come here too

if nash isnt chasing a ring, he would sign here, but only because we'd give him a ridiculously overpaid contract....and that would be a really bad move for us.

TORaptor4Ever 01-18-2012 11:57 AM

Andre Miller has always been a solid PG. Good leader too.

I would take him on if he didn't try to break the bank.

Windex 01-18-2012 12:16 PM

guys near the end of their career are looking the biggest final paycheck available or are willing to take a pay cut to play for a contender.

since we are not contenders we have to overpay... and I don't think BC wants to do that with our "rebuild"

Dario 01-18-2012 04:57 PM

I would honestly only take Nash out of this list, if we could ever get JT, would be awesome, but thats not realistic

If Baron Davis can get fatter and Kevin Garnett can get older, let's get them. ;)

Question though. How much loner before Steve Nash falls off a cliff? I suppose he extended his career by not playing every summer for the national team, but how much longer is he going to be the energizer bunny...at least at that level?

the thing with nash is his best quality isn't one that degrades much with age. similar to ray allen. Nash is a pass maestro and vision isn't something you lose necessarily, well until you're 80 and can't see ;). He can also shoot the ball well so i can see his career never dropping off a cliff but rather slowly declining, as it has been, until he retires.
