This just in: Marc Gasol becomes first #NBA DPOY not to make either first or second All-Defense team. Nice job, DPOY voters
This sure is an interesting little fact....

Can't believe Chandler made it to First team. Does CP3 really help his team defensively more then someone like Iggy does?

Mike James got one vote for all-nba first team and one vote for all-nba second team.

Chris Paul named first team All Defense; strange votes abound - Clips Nation
To funny, it's cause he's old and coaches in the nba love him

Tim Duncan's teamates on his first All-NBA Team. Shaq, Malone, MJ, and Payton.

It looks to me like Heisler is saying the media voters got the DPOY wrong...not that he's surprised Gasol didn't make 1st or 2nd team.

Chris Posh or Al Horford should've made it over Lee IMO. Other than that, I'm ok with those teams.

Aldridge got jacked, figured as much.

All hail Dwight Howard. Even in his worst season as a pro, he's still a 3rd team NBA because he's on the Lakers.

17ppg/12.5rpg/2.4blks (only 10.7 shots per game) 58 FG%

As "worst seasons" go, that's pretty impressive imo.

Aldridge: 21ppg/9rpg/1.2blks (on 18 shots per game) 48 FG%

Numbers don't mean shit. Anyone that watched the Lakers play could tell how terrible Dwight was for majority of the season. Lazy and disinterested.

I might take Aldridge over Lee -- but tbh I think there are other candidates who were better than Aldridge or Lee this year.
