With all the celebrated bigs on LA's side, the best big on the court, by an enormous margin, was the guy playing for Miami.

LA is looking bored for the last few weeks.

Miami is playing with mirrors right now. Defensively they're the best team in the league. The way they move on defense is really really really impressive.

Offensively, they have some problems, especially when they're playing behind in a game.

Defensively Miami is great to watch but offensively I'm bored watching them.

LeBron James turns 26 years of age next week and he is looking for sponsors to pony up cash to fund the celebration.

The actual birthday party will be celebrated on December 30 at the Coco Deville lounge in Miami's Gansevoort Hotel, but it doesn't end there.

James' handlers are creating an eleven-stop birthday tour for companies who want their products and brand names shoved in front of young hipsters. It's called the LeBron "King" James Full Court Birthday Celebration.

Business Insider gives us a peek at a marketing firm's PowerPoint presentation that dangles a crowd that includes, "athletes, models, and musicians" as well as "affluent leaders and savvy trendsetters."

The minimum buy-in is $10,000 and if you want to go all in, it will cost $500,000 to be certain you are seen at all the events planned around this young man's birthday.
LeBron James' birthday party is an eleven-city tour

Wanting and being able to deliver when the time comes are two different things. There's still more delivering to do. This was just a good sign that making an appearance isn't going to be all there is.

Agree about the offense, although there have been some good moments lately. Miller should help pick up some excitement. And if they could ever land a pg that can add another dimension to the offense, then it would be insane.

I'm surprised Bosh completed that dunk. And I'm even more surprised he even attempted one

Really? Playing against one of the NBA's best frontlines? Against the world champs? Wasn't the word on Bosh that he fades in big games? That he can't get it done against the best?

Maybe I'm thinking of someone else.....

And yes... A Laker blowout loss is the ULTIMATE christmas present.

I don't know what Miller is going to offer them that James Jones isn't giving them on the offensive end. I think they're just gonna use him as a spot up jump shooter to kick out to. Yay!

I just don't know what type of PG they could pick up with a lack of any cap room and with a new CBA coming.

Yeah - I don't expect to see a pg - it's just what they need. And I would hope they use Miller as a facilitator in that vein. He has very good instincts and does a good job of stuff like setting screens when needed. He'll be a better version of James Jones (although I love how Jones keeps stepping in to take charges), but also a poor man's Lebron on nights when that is needed.
