Arroyo also needs to play more like a guy running the offense, whereas Chalmers works ok with Lebron and Wade being the de facto floor generals at any given time. I didn't like the idea of Chalmers taking any shots, but he's become a better shooter as the year has worn on.

Why is the NBA trying to kill the legacy of Sam Cassell

Bosh is an allstar...
6 points 1 reb in 30 minutes. 9 missed shots.

Blake Griffin with 5 made field goals halfway through the 4th. He got 3 makes with Bosh on the bench, and 1 on a runout after a turnover. Bosh and the rest of the Heat have put in a nice defensive effort today.

Blake with SEVEN OFF rebounds against one of the best defensive teams in the league? Ouch.

and someguy - yeah the rebounding from Griffin is pretty amazing. There were instances where the Heat were playing zone. But there were lots of times where he was actually boxed out. He's just very quick and strong. He had no real impact on this game though. Defensively, he needs a little work yet.

sorry - someD - not someguy. Griffin stuffed his stats a bit when the game was already over as well. He's going to get better though - that's what's really scary.

Everyone can focus in on Blake with no one really scoring for the Clippers. They're REALLY missing Eric Gordon.

And I can't stand watching the heat play. There's so much iso on every play (well, because they can) that gets boring. Also, I'm getting tired of superstar calls in the NBA. LeBron, Kobe and Wade get away with so much that's tiresome to watch them.

There still was too many isos, but the Heat did a nice job of getting the role players involved at least.

And yeah - Lebron using his elbow to impede his defender as he made his move to the basket. That's a call that only certain players don't get. That one pisses me off.

The Heat attack matchups but it's not like they come down and pound the ball on one side of the court. I would say they are one of the more polished, offensively sound teams in the league when it comes to passing and spacing.

They run a fair bit of pick and rolls. They run Miller and House off of their fair share of screens, and I don't see to many possessions where the basketball doesn't see both sides of the court. T

I just don't see the ugly iso after iso, one man pounding the ball that you're suggesting. Although I didn't see the Clipper game. The only time I've seen there offense get ugly is when they get up 20 points.

I think it's just so particularly bothersome when it happens that it sticks out. Bosh killed the ball at one point in the second quarter when he knew he was coming out of the game. And there were a couple of Lebron possessions where everyone just cleared out of the way. But it's true that they were not the rule but the exceptions.

Miami commentators said it's good that the Heat don't have to rely on the two super stars Lebron and Wade to do all the scoring
