Is there anyone on this list that we can realistically get that would help us next season either by just a straight signing or giving them an MLE. Who would you want here out of this list this summer. Keep in mind we have limited money + MLE to spend.

I would love to see Matt Barnes here, He would add some more toughness off the bench

I was thinking the same thing. He only made 1.2Mil last season and is 29. How much would it take to get him here 3.5Mil...Maybe

Him and Marion at SF would be a great combination for sure.

Chris Anderson, Dahntay Jones, Trevor Ariza, Ramon Sessions(this guy is insane, he can completely take over games offensively, i remember him dropping 40+ on the pistons, if we can get him, there will be another pg controversy, which is a good thing), Charlie Villanueva , matt barnes, Chris Wilcox....those are the players we should look at this summer.....hmmm if we could somehow package a Bosh and shitty contrct deal for ramon sessions and charlie V....

Marquis Daniels makes a lot of sense for us and would be a better starter than Delfino. Maybe we'll get Anthony Carter if we don't draft a backup PG too

I know someone here who would get a boner if we signed James Singleton.

Realistic ($$) possibilities imo:

Matt Barnes (SF)
Dahntay Jones (SG) ( just had arthroscopic shoulder surgery for bone spur)
Von Wafer (SG)
Luther head (SG)
Jacque Vaughn (PG)
Brevin Knight (PG)
Juan Dixon (SG)

Outside chance (highly unlikely):

Ramon Sessions (PG)
Trevor Ariza (SF)
Hedo Turkoglu (SF)
Ben Gordon (SG)
Ron Artest (SF)
Josh Childress (SF)
AI (SG)

Overall i think a trade and draft picks are more likely gonna fill the holes that still remain. I doubt there is much there in free agency that we'll be able to or want to get.

Marvin(for Marion), Singleton(for cheap, great 10th man), Ross(fantastic defender for cheap off the bench), and Ronnie Price(great energy, good defence, and can make an outside shot and is very athletic and cheap, as well as underused in Utah)is who I would look at. And Hayes if we dont re sign Parker. The rest either suck or we'd have to overpay and it wouldnt be worth it.

If I had my way I'd try and trade Marion for Marvin since both are FA's, re sign Parker and Delfino, sign Rasho, and try and get Price for the LLE. Delfino wont count against our MLE so we can split it between Rasho and Parker and have a beautiful bench going into next year with multiple options at every spot. If Roko does break out we'll have a great PG tandem again, if hes a little bit slower then Price can eat some minutes at the point, and both Parker and Delfino are capable of playing a solid 20mpg if needed, Delfino obviously getting more minutes.

True, but i highly doubt we can get him. I guess i could have put him on my second list. But how much would he be asking for?

Below is a group of players who could help out in different ways and will cost probably cost no more than the full MLE in the worst case scenario:

Rashad McCants
Matt Barnes
Tyronn Lue
Luther Head
Juan Carlos Navarro(If Colangelo could convince him to come back over)
Chris Andersen
Brandon Bass
Wally Szczerbiak
Ronald Murray

No chance in hell the market will dictate that price in the current times we're entering. He should be jumping up and down at 10M/yr if he's lucky.

if he gets more than 15 mil, hes getting overpaid....its should be between 10-15, but there is always someone who is willing to overpay.... we all know hes not gonna be a first option, maybe second.....and he is gonna be 30 this year......

Lakers said if they re-sign Odom, it'd be less than 10m.
