Didn't see a thread for this one

Lakers look pretty good right now, though Utah's trimmed down the lead a bit. First couple games are really important for LA, they don't want to go to Utah with a split.

lakers, like always taking a 20 point lead and then blowing it. Terrible game by Gasol.

Utah needs to be up at least by 5 with 5 minutes to go in this series to have a shot because they just cant stop Kobe.

Maybe zone defence is the answer? Problem is I dont think Sloan believes in it.

Zone will just give Kobe the 3pt every time, that'll just make it worse.

Great game by the Lakers. I'm guessin a Lakers in 5 here.

I'd rather have him taking 3's than going 9/14 from the field and 23/23 at the line or whatever it was.

We're talking about Kobe Bryant here right? Just so we're on the same page here.

The reason he's going 21/23 at the line was not all him. It was the Utah guys who couldn't get their friggin hands off the guy.

My call? I would just stick to the man and let him drive to the net and at least have a bigger guy try and stop him with an offensive foul or a block, but not a foul. Let him get the easy layups, its better that having 3pt plays everytime where it could've been easily avoided

Lakers are just completely unstoppable. You help on the pick and roll with a side defender they get open 3's, you dont help they get a layup or ft's.

Their system is almost as unstoppable as the prime Kings a couple years ago.

Not looking too good for the Lakers tonight. Utah is unstoppable at home. Thank god for home-court advantage.

Utah is a damn good team. Great game, but is there any other coach who can institute the pick and roll better than Jerry Sloan? Smitch could learn a thousand things from him.

I knew from the beginning winning on the road would be tough for LAL. But honestly, I really thought they were gonna win last night. They had 'em at the end but Walton fanned on the pass and it was over.

They can win all their homes if they want, they still won't win the series. It's called home-court advantage.

But they did only lose by 4, I mean when a team that had a 37-4 record at home in the season, is only winning by 4 at home in the playoffs, that really won't be too good in the long run.

The games in LA were close in the 4th as well, it just means both teams are very good but LA is just a Kobe better.

There's about 26 other coaches who could learn a thing or two from Sloan.

Turkish and Russian people are clutch.

Kobe turned into Kobe of 2 yrs ago chucking up everything.

2nd best game of playoffs so far.
