But I'll take a player like him on my team. They can stick around and be good pieces.

Adam Morrison averaged 28.1 ppg in his final year in college. Jimmer's average is almost the exact same, at 28.6. Just sayin'...

Jimmer, could be a Mike Bibby??? a Jameer Nelson??? They are all contributing in the NBA!!
You gotta give him a shot with an early 20 pick...

the only reason these two get compared to is because they are white.

In all fairness Hurley's career was cut short by that horrific car accident. He could have been pretty solid otherwise.

+1000.

Both white, from smaller colleges, putting up big #'s. People see that on paper and the comparison start.

Hmmm.... I wonder if BC will feel that Jimmer could be his next Nash?

Its not really a good comparison, most notable is Jimmer isn't a diabetic, which was the biggest concern for Morrison's jump to the NBA. Plus you are comparing PG who creates every shot he takes. Morrison used screens and scored the majority of his points inside the perimeter. I think Jimmer went 8 -12 maybe 14 from behind the line. As far as this draft goes he is the second best option at pg, behind Irving.

If we don't get Irving, I see no reason to not draft him.

Fredettes value just plummeted after todays game. A non-lottery team is going to get a steal.

Scored 32 on one leg exhausted from playing every minute of every game of the tourney with absolutely zero help from his team, and lost against a good team who had all 5 guys contributing and dropping every open look they got, or so it seemed.

Ya, his stock must have really dropped.

The only thing that will hold him back is his non-existant defensive game. Thats it. Offensively this kid will give NBA team nightmares. Nobody has seen him have an open look. he doesn't get them. he gets 1,2,3 guys on him and has to create his open space. I saw one play last night where he did get a nice look off a little pick and roll (not nearly as open as he will be in the NBA, and he barely hit the mesh his shot wa sso dead on.

This kid will find his way on to a good team and be automatic in the Eddie house/ Steve Kerr kind of way.

oh ya, and he'll win the 3 point contest 5 years in a row.

This is a weak draft anyway. So I say the Raps should go ahead and draft Jimmer if Kyrie and Kemba aren't available.

He could be like a White Jameer Nelson with more range (and less D)
