I know you hear me bitch about him all the time but here are the reasons for my bitching.
1) Minnesota and the Clippers are in much worse situation that us and will be battling for the number 1 and draft pick why? Minnesota - has michael beasley as franchise player, 6 PGs Clippers - indiana jones curse 2)why will perry Jones will drop to the 3 or 4 spot? the t'wolves are in need of a quality starting PG because flynn is not cutting it and a paint dominating big man like kanter because they already have a player like beasley at the 3 who is starting to heat up after being a disappointment in miami and the first part of this season. It's obvious that the clippers need that franchise SF because all the other positions on that team are already solid, and with the departure of thorton, the need to fill that space is needed even more. Plus adding Barnes will make the clippers conference finals contenders... if only the curse never existed. 3)Perry jones versatility and size can help this team a lot, being the only F/C type of player in the top 5 prospects, the Raptors can either place him at the C so that everyone can have there wet dream of having Bargnani at the 4, or giving us ridiculous shot blocking size in the frontcourt with Davis (pf) Bargnani (C/PF) and jones (SF/PF/C) plus a massive improvement on our rebounding with reggie probably leaving or traded. 4) Taking irving won't help this team, it's will just make our already decent PG position much more better, but not the rest of the team. I'm fine with 2 quality role PGs playing for 48 minutes, the lakers and OKC can do it, we just need the wings and frontcourt beefed up. |

Clips will be better
Perry Jones might not even be the best PF in the draft OKC has Westbrook and LA has Gasol/Kobe and a Fisher/Blake tandem works in their systems PG is really important if you look around the guard driven league and there are already a lot of good PF's out there, its the most abundant position in the league |

Being compared to tmac and garnett must speak volumes of his versatility, something this team needs, remember shawn marion?

LA is good because of the amazing depth in all positions, therefore making the PGs not the main focus on offense, which makes them great fallback options when the offense fails. If we built toronto through the draft with veteran PGs leading the offense, we can see this team go far. Another example team I would like to bring up is Sacramento, no star player PG but the rest of the positions are solid Last edited by Someguy again; 11-12-2010 at 05:01 PM. |

He's currently projected to go top 3 and as of now is ranked the best PF in the draft. We don't need a PF, in fact that's the last thing we need. |

Jones is a SF at the NBA level, PF in college. He's got guard skills with PF's height, think Durant LITE. With that said, Jones is not a banger, in college he can rebound because of his athleticism and height but he isn't suited to playing low post primarily.

If he is still around 17, 6, and 5 with a steal as a starter I would say they definately go after a sf(Barnes or Jones) |

Off topic, but the latest Mock Draft from NBADraft.net doesn't include Irving. Hmmm...
2011 Mock Draft | NBADraft.net EDIT: This consensus mock draft has Kyrie falling all the way to 8th to the Raptors! ![]() http://www.nbadraft.net/nba_mock_drafts/consensus/ Last edited by Dark Knight; 01-02-2011 at 04:54 PM. |
