I find it funny when alot of people hate on Jerryd Bayless because he is a combo guard.. and say he can never run this team because of that reason. Knight is also a combo guard, so I don't see why so many people want him here. Walker is more of a true point guard and would play better with DeRozan in the back court. And even though hes more of a true point guard, he is also a better scorer.

I don't think either of them are "true point guards", if you're talking about a pass first guard.

Defense.

Sorry but he's bigger, can shoot ....and what really matters is he's the better defender of the two, which even you have to admit is what we need most right now. A damn PG that can defend and is tall enough to ride the rollercoaster.

From what I've seen Kemba is a great defender.. hes able to keep up with his man and grab alot of steals while pressuring the ball. Also for his size he grabs a ton of rebounds, so what does that matter anyway.

In the NBA, quite a bit. Things are a tad different in the NBA in case you didn't know. And Knight is rated as the BETTER defender and supposedly has a BETTER work ethic. Don't get me wrong, i think Walker is talented but i would go with Knight and if Knight goes before Walker which he's projected to, then i wouldn't have a major problem getting Walker. You're entitled to you're opinion, i mean there is a case to be made for both imo.

I wouldn't waste 2-3 years trying to develop Brandon Knight when there will probably be much better PG options next year. and Brandon Knight has trouble getting to the rim. Thats not something I want from my point guard.

Bigger defenders suck at keeping their man in front of them, just ask Jose.

I think Knight has good lateral quickness and weight which allows him to stay with his opponent. He should only get better at defence once he picks up experience.

I would take Knight only because I have a good feeling about him :P Either way if we got one or the other, it still helps our team

Lots of shit flying out of asses around here.

I still like BK's overall game more than Kemba, who I was a big fan of this year.

I also think that Knight's PG skills are completely underrated considering how people talk about him. He's not some random me first chucker. Watch tape and you can see this kid has vision and passing skills.

It'll be interesting to see how the workouts will go, but again I look around the NBA and try to find a starting PG who's 6 feet tall...lots of them on the bench, but incredibly few starting.

I'd rather take the risk on a young, growing PG with a good head on his shoulders, good size and a more versatile offensive skill set over Kemba who, although really talented as well, I find is a guy who'd need the ball in his hands a LOT to be effective. In this league, size can lend itself to efficiency.

Walker can play without the ball in his hands much much more effectively than Knight. I'm not sold on size. To hear that Walker was 6 1 was just icing on top of the cake. And I would definitely hate to take someone because he's bigger in size. How does he have more versatile offensive skill? I'd say Walker other than shooting 3 pointers is much more skilled offensively than Brandon Knight. I don't care about size. I care about skill, court vision and passing. I'm not sold on Knight's potential.

Yeah, just saw an interview with BC. I didn't realize it started Thursday; I thought Friday was the first day.

That should clear up the question of his real height.

so he's basically 6' tall. that's a big difference from the low end of 5'9" that some people were speculating. as a pg, 6' is doable.

Exact same height as Chris Paul, Brandon Jennnigs and Ty Lawson.

6 1 is more than adequate.
