Raptors frontrunner for #2 pick?

I wouldn't deal the #2 pick and DD for #5 and Flynn. Then again, I'm not a huge fan of Williams, as he reminds me too much of a cross between Thaddeus Young and Evan Turner. Basically, a good player but not a franchise or star player.

I do wonder if maybe Bargnani is being offered - something like Bargnani and #5 for Milicic and #2.

He didn't say that would be the deal, that was the fan suggesting that. Not sure what the deal would be but i can't see us trading Derozan for Williams and essentially the #5 pick for Flynn. Makes little sense imo. All it would do is strengthen us at the 3 while weakening us at the 2. It's at best a lateral move. Now if we can do an Amir/#5 for #2/Flynn i'd do it.

Ideally if we trade Derozan we get to keep the #5 pick. Turning Derozan/filler + TPE into Flynn/Williams and picking a Center @ #5 would be massive imo and we'd still have Jose/Bargnani to trade. But we'd have to give more then that you would think, to keep the #5.

i do not want kevin love starting at centre for us. that's a lateral move if it's not making us marginally better.

who is cleveland leaning towards picking #1? I don't think it's set in stone they're picking irving. If Irving is going to be there at 2 (and I think there's a good chance of that) we have a much better shot at snagging that second pick because Minny has no need for that pick anymore.

First of all this is highly unlikely to say the least. But I'd take Love/Davis over what we have now, and sorry but defensive rebounding and allowing 2nd chance points is a huge problem on this team and that would be cut down immensely with a Love/Davis combination. Plus he's only 22yrs old and imo if the right coach is brought in he could be fine defensively. And secondly let's face it, who is better then Love at the Center position that we'd have a shot at getting here?

I'm not quite sure what you're saying here. Are you suggesting Irving drops because Cleveland takes Williams, or because Cleveland takes Kanter?

Minny is stacked at the SF/PF positions and now appears to have Rubio comming over. So, really, Minny does not have a pressing need for Irving or Williams. Though, Minny could really use a Center for the future. In my opinion, which could be flawed, the T-Wolves are probably looking really hard at Kanter.

For Cleveland to maximize it's picks I would believe Williams would go first. Irving will fall IMO past Minny as Kanter would be great there. Irving picked up by Utah and then I'm going to say walker 4th - I think if the Cavs run a 1-2 of Bdiddy and Walker with Williams/Hickson and Noah, it would be the best line coming out for them. I like Knight but I see Walker higher with the intangibles he brings to the table. Of course, this barring any trades.

I really don't want Flynn. I say that each position should have players that aren't too alike, and Flynn is too much like JB.

Assuming we are after Williams. No trade with Minny makes sense if we want Irving (unless it's 3 ways).

Seems like we are on the short end a bit but this seem what he's possibly talking about...

I'm not ready to give up on DeRozan yet. I still think his potential is higher than anyone's in the draft.

if there is a keeper in this roster, he is the one.
i don't think BC will do a move before hurung a new HC. it will not make sense.
