2011 NBA Mock Draft | 2011 NBA Draft | NBA Mock Draft
i realllllly hope this doesnt happen. the last two bigs we drafted turned out to not be good enough to be team leaders. if you take a look at contenders, theyre main players usually and almost always have been guards or small forwards. we took DD as what, the ninth pick? and hes projected to become an all star at the rate hes been playing so far. We picked Bosh in what some would say the most stacked draft of the last 30 years and look where that got us. we took bargz as the FIRST OVERALL pick and he has not shown to be an all star, let alone a contending team leader. PF'S are available, a lot of them, but game changine point guards are one in a few. I honestly hope BC picks a pg because if he picks a big this draft, especially considering our lineup right now, i say OFF WITH HIS HEAD |

Don't worry we're months away from the draft.
It's only a projection based on talent, not on team needs. And anyways, in June, we're not necessarily picking second. |

If we have the second pick, we are taking Kyrie Irving. There is no doubt in my mind. If we land the first pick, we might have to take Barnes based squarely on his star potential.

I don't want another big and we don't need one. However if this guy becomes projected to be 1st overall by the end of the Tourny then IMO you have to take him

Raps are also projected to take Kris Joseph with the 32nd pick overall. Wouldn't mind that.
![]() EDIT: They have alot of gems in the 2nd round. Kalin Lucas, Cory Joseph, Tristan Thompson... |

love to draft Kyrie Irving, I feel like he is the type of guy we want leading this team for the 15 years, plus the pieces we have need a PG of his skill set to really get there game off

So Minny gets Irving. Ha - that's delicious.
As is this projection, but considering that we are all thinking about the draft, I guess there might as well be a draft projection. I'd like to think we could fall to the 4th pick and still get the pg. |

Kyrie Irving, Harrison Barnes those guys have names that sound like allstars, where Perry Jones sounds like a guy who is coming of your bench

Perry Jones is a beast!
6'11" 235lb SF that blocks shots, attacks the basket, dominates the high post, has good range, great ball handling skills and creates his own shots. the kid is going to be a star. |
