Fuck it, lets just boycott him altogether. Let him get picked in the second round.

with the 4th pick in the 2011 draft, the cleveland cavaliers pick derrick williams out of arizona.

and so the draft makes complete sense, it's just that 1 and 4 we're switched. sj logic ftw...

What position would he play on Utah? He's not really a SF and not really a PF and with Millsap and Big Al already on the roster, he's pointless.

Plus, I just don't see the big hoopla surrounding Derrick Williams.

Harris
Miles
Williams
Millsap
Jefferson

Looks pretty nice to me. Williams brings a lot to the table at the small forward position (which is where I see him playing in the NBA). He's athletic, excellent rebounder and defender, and can hit an open shot. Everything you'd want from your start 3.

With the 6th pick in the 2011 NBA draft, the Washington Wizards select Kawhi Leonard out of the San Diego State University.

Except, Davis is fat, and the rest of them can't score for shit for the most part outside of Williams. Yeah great!

In reality, if Williams was available at #3, I think Utah would select him. The Jazz might not keep him, but I'm pretty sure he'd get picked. I could be wrong, but I think he has some decent trade value.

If Cleveland wanted Williams and Kanter, it would probably be safer to take Williams first.

Williams reminds me of Marcus Fizer to a degree and even Corliss Williamson.

I don't think he's that good of a defender either and every player in the NBA can hit an open jumper.

If Knight pans out and continues developing, he's playing a premium position in today's NBA.

i think williams is both arrogant and dumb. i think he'll be a power forward when all is said and done. his measurements from the combine silenced the questions of him being undersized, but unfortunately for him, he's been too busy selling himself as a small forward to come back and say that he'll be a power forward. dude should have kept his mouth shut and let his game speak for it's self. he's a good player, i think he'll be solid, but i don't like him.
