Bayless has never shown enough consistency in his career to be considered a starter yet. So to say he's absolutely better then Knight or Walker or both is premature to say the least. I liked what i saw from Bayless at times last season and would like to see him improve over this summer on his decision making and shooting abilities. But if it's him and one of those two as our PG's there will be competition which is never bad.

I'd take Kemba over Knight too. Kemba's quicks are good enough for him to get open looks in the NBA.

Also, I think he can adjust to being more of a distributor. He'll never be a Stockton, but he won't be a Mike James either.

For next season I'd rank:

Kemba > Bayless > Knight

I like Kemba"s ability to finish at the rim and force defenses into difficult positions. He"s more than just an explosive player. His athleticism sets him apart from Bayless by quite a bit. The only question would be whether he would be able to be a decent distributor, or whether he ends up being the type of player that doesn't find other options and is difficult to build around with the right kind of complimentary players.

Kemba's future is being a backup PG
Knight has a better shot at being proper starter. And I think he will be better than Bayless in a year or two.

Knight's future is Lou Williams.

I have to say, count me in on the Walker wagon. Love his attitude and has probably the most swag outta the top 5 IMO. Obviously if the top 4 are gone I think Kemba is what the Raps need right now - that attitude can be infectious

Uhmm...what? Kemba oozes swag and leadership and heart. 3 things that this team needs.

I'll say this right now, but if Kemba gets drafted into a situation where he's starting, he's the rookie of the year.

Also, this kind of Kemba vs Knight thing reminds me of Roy vs Foye. Some people had Foye ranked higher based on "potential". I see the same thing here. I've also seen too much emphasis put on the "can'ts" of prospects. It happens all of the time. Recent history points to all the can'ts about Dejuan Blair and his health. The fact that Durant couldn't bench the bar at the combine.

Kemba CAN ball and we're seriously going to regret not picking him if he's On the board at 5. He is a straight up baller!

+1
I completely agree...theres something about Kemba, the way he plays and how he carries himself. this team would be well served by drafting him

Kemba is 20lbs heavier than TJ, takes contact well and doesn't have a spinal cord issue. That and he wasn't negatively effected by Sam Mitchell. Kemba has also done something Irving, TJ and Knight haven't done, carry his team and single handedly win the NCAA tournament. LOL and no, he's no Chalmers.

You'll have to forgive me, but my sarcasm detector is on the fritz.

Unless you are serious, in which I must ask you to explain.

you have the audacity to ask me to explain myself when you throw a kemba = ford remark and run?! HA!

my reasoning is easy, but i'm sure you don't want to hear about how good TJ was before his back injury or his head injury, do you?

well,

he was really good and i honestly don't think any of these three players will be as good.

Well, for the most part, I was kidding about that comparison.

And I can't honestly tell you how good I remember TJ being pre-injury, but to say that neither Knight or Kemba, or even Kyrie for that fact, will never be as good as him might be a stretch...

saying never is a stretch from saying that you don't think they'll be as good

Honestly...if we got a "healthy" version of TJ with the 5th pick in THIS draft, I'd be excited.

I, however think that Kemba will be better than that.
