He's projected to go from mid to late first round in this draft. I'd really like for us to pick up a draft pick and select him. He wasn't able to showcase himself during March Madness, not to mention he missed a bunch of games due to that 23 game suspension, so we could be picking up a steal in this draft. He fits both our needs of a backup point guard and a playmaker, plus I'm sure a lot of people love the idea of having a Canadian player on the team. Ideally, he would eventually succeed Lowry as the starting pg once he's fully developed.

the Raptors organization would be wise to target local talent after the amount of BS they have crawled through over the past several years.

I saw him play quite a bit last year while I was living in Texas ...
Excellent passer ... still has a kids body ... can't shot yet. He has upside potential given his floor vision. If he works on his shot and builds some bulk .. could become an NBA starter.
