In fairness the last two games have been some of the worst of his career, so it's tough to judge him on that. Though he also struggled as a freshman until Marshall came along.

I don't think Roy did a good job of getting him the ball in good spots but if I'm taking a guy top 5, I want him to be able to create on his own regardless.

interesting article.....i think he's gonna drop out of the top 10
he cares more about building his "brand" than he does about basketball, yet failing to realize that if you just focus on basketball your "brand" will build itself

i've watched probably 10 non-tournament UNC games the last two years and i've felt the same...this guy is still living off his high school hype.

Don't mistake his awareness of how important brand is now with a lack of caring about basketball. Everything I've read or heard about him makes it seem as though he is a genuine hard worker that puts in the time. Just doesn't seem to be living up to the hype. Search for some of Mcdermott's quotes about how he wouldn't be the player he is (All-American this year) without Barnes work ethic rubbing off on him.

Well. I actually didn't know about Barnes' Brand. I know little about him other than some hilight reels and the game sI have watched him play.

He just doesnt seem that good.

Nothing against Harrison Barnes, he's just not great. He really needs to stay at NC.

Barnes has struggled his entire college career trying to create his own shot. He kind of reminds me of Luol Deng to be honest. Not a bad player, but not a guy you're really going to go in the crunch with. But yes, he's not a creator.

hell, i don't even think he's that good. i say he falls somewhere between marvin williams and luol deng when all is said and done.

bad part is, i'll admit i got roped into the hype at the start. the shooting, the size, the length...it seemed like he was a good fit. but this guy needs a derrick rose or a kyrie irving to really flourish in the NBA, and we definitely don't have that.

Not a big fan of him.. We already have demar who can't create his own shot, and to add Barnes, who seems one dimensional, not really athletic, and forces his shots at times..
