Barnes 26points 4rebounds right now vs Clemson. UNC down by 2 with 1:20 to go. Barnes just hit a 3 to get it down 2.

Its the Barnes show. A 3 in OT. 29points 5-7 from 3. Barnes is showing everyone why he was rated the #1 player in HS.The dude stock is going up and up again and Raptors better start tanking again if they want a shot at him or Irving. hehe

He's picking up his game when it matters the most.

Good sign.

Agree with the last 2.

The thing i like about Barnes the most is when its close and late HE wants the ball. Not afraid to take the ball and hit a big shot. Clutch.

A 3 that can stretch the floor and defend would look super bitchin' beside Demar.

Barnes is starting to show why he got the Kobe and Jordan comparisons out of HS now, he may end up surpasing Irving as the top pick

our chances at him maybe slim. he will most likely go top 3 so we may need to hope the balls drop out way. i can easily see the cavs/wizards taking him. maybe the kings but i believe they are already stocked with a ton of young talent.

Barnes with 24 and 16 tonight. Playing his way into top 3 consideration.

Two weeks ago i included him as a player i would want (not THE player, just ONE of) and i was literally laughed at by Don. It's amazing what one or two games will do.

yep.

that said, he does look solid. Sadly Toronto might be a bit too far down the list to grab him. He would look nice beside Damar.

Well that is because some people are so fast to hate a player that struggles a little bit. Barnes always had the talent and if you watch him you could see it. Even scouts said the same thing that they still liked Barnes even when he was not playing as good as he is now.

Now he is just killing it and playing himself into a top pick with Irving. Like SJ said there is a very good chance he won't be there when the Raptors pick unless we get lucky in the lottery. Still hope I guess!

I love the fact that he's efficient in getting his points as well. he doesn't need the ball ALL the time. He's basically the 3rd option @ UNC considering they have Henson and Zeller in the post and he's still the leading scorer!!!

Barnes may go back to school?

NBA Draft: Brandon Knight rising on Big Board - ESPN

Quote:
Harrison Barnes is a top NBA prospect. Most NBA draft outlets have him pegged as a top five pick.

With those kind of projections, you'd think the 6-foot-8 small forward would be a lock to come out. Not so, according to ESPN.com’s Chad Ford.

Barnes would like to win an NCAA championship for the Tar Heels before declaring for the draft, a source told Ford.

"He's the sort of guy who cares about more than just going to the NBA," the source said. "He wants to leave his mark."
