Draft 2012

As much as I think the Raps should try to pick up another top 10 pick in this year's draft, barring a lockout, I would rather Colangelo focus on picking up another pick in next year's much deeper draft. I wonder if Detroit would do...Bargnani + Amir + TPE for 8th pick + RIP + 2012 pick (non loterry protected). Heck I'd even give them Ed Davis instead of Amir if they wanted. I don't have a problem having Amir being backed up by Reggie. Or anything, we could go out and draft a PF next year as they'll be plentiful next year.

Let's be honest, the Raps won't be tanking this year but they'll be in the lottery again. They're at least another year away from being a threat in my opinion. 2012-2013 is when I think they'll make a lot of noise.

We'll be better then you think, and imo we'll be outside of the top 10. I also think if that is the case we'll deal the pick.

I don't really get all the hype surrounding next year's draft, and the incoming class for that matter. Anthony Davis, while certainly talented and driven, has the body of Shaun Livingston. Rivers seems to be a tweener diva. Just like this year, I don't think there will be superstar talent available. Lots of quality SFs to choose from though (Barnes, Gilchrist, Miller, PJ3).

There is no point to plan for next years draft unless we get Austin Rivers which 90% aint happening.

I still say that we win 30 games without the myriad of injuries. But whatever. Do you really think that with capspace, and BC on a short contract that we won't improve next season (whenever that turns out to be. lol)? To think we'll end up as bad as this past season and get a top 5 pick is hoping for something that just seems unlikely.

see next year, there is alot of SF available. Thats why i dont think we should pick one this year if we get that second pick. There is barnes and also both the jones. There is quite a few players in next years draft
