KYRIE IRVING! For those tanking, this might make you happy. This is the best case scenario according the Bleacher Report. Worst case according to them is picking up another Bargs.

Wow, so many great nicknames for Bargnani rolling in with the end of his fifth season with the Raptors. Last week, Sports Illustradted described Bargnani as the "Chief Slacker." Now Bleacher reports comes in with the "King of Soft." So, the best case scenario is we draft Irving and get the star point guard that will lead us back to the playoffs. Or the worst case scenario we draft the next Bargnani and end up in the same spot where we started with a bottom 3 record in the NBA after five years. Its amazing how the wrong decision with a high pick in the draft can affect a franchise.

Irving would be a dream, he would fit like a glove around here. If Bargs had some aggression in him he would be deadly but instead, everyone sees right through him.

I think there is a chance raps get Irving..
Minnesota does not need him, and Cleveland could use a guy like Derrick Williams after losing a player like Lebron

Agreed completely. I have faith Bayless can turn out to a positive given the ability to play the minutes he has.

Bargnani for shot to get Kemba Walker? I dunno, lot of scouts saying Kemba will be a back-up point guard. However, Bargnani for a young center like Katner. It would tough to draft Katner with a top 3 pick, but to trade our defensive liability for an upcoming center would be reasonable.

initially i got excited about derrick williams, but i'm starting to see more marcus fizer in him every day.

minnesota will pick irving if he's there, either as insurance if rubio either doesn't play or pan out as expected, or because he's a sexy tradeable asset. it wouldn't surprise me to see the Raptors trade up for irving.

something tells me irving will be a raptor next season, i just have a feeling.

If Minny doesn't want to disappoint themselves or make another laughing stock at Kahn, then they'll address their needs in the draft and not get another point guard like Irving. Looking at the draft reports and who gets who, it makes sense that we could land Irving.

Like you my friend, I have a feeling that we can land Irving.

I lied, I looked at the standings and it looks like Minny took the #1 draft pick spot. But who knows what happens lol. If Minny does get #1 pick, they might just get Irving just for the fact that he's the best player available.
