The all encompassing Wiggins Watch thread

Thought I'd make a thread, just for discussion in case anyone else is going to be watching. If you didn't know yet, TSN is carrying all of Kansas' games this season.

First one is tonight at 930 ET against Louisiana-Monroe. Very excited to see him play

rapsmannn 11-08-2013 02:32 PM

cant wait going to record it and watch it later though, got work but I'm pretty excited about it,

its just not wiggins, its parker, randle, smart, 4 allstar type player to start the season,

I wonder who is going to be legit and who isnt

Carlos Danger 11-08-2013 03:51 PM

Yup, pretty much all the big names getting in their first games tonight. Going to be a great season

KoolAid 11-08-2013 08:13 PM

You got my hopes up when you said TSN has all the Kansas games, didn't realize TSN2 was included :dead:

Carlos Danger 11-08-2013 09:14 PM

Sorry man haha, not sure if it's just TSN2 or both. Maybe time to get TSN2?:cookie:

Those are pretty meh stats. In comparison, Jabari Parker dropped 22 points yesterday.

Granted, I didn't watch either games so I can't comment on who looked better in their debut.

Carlos Danger 11-08-2013 11:19 PM

Wiggins played really well. Let the game come to him, and didn't force anything. Really looked to make passes. Only took wide open threes, one was at the end of the shot clock, probably would have rathered not shoot it. He made it look easy in terms of getting to the hoop. His D was solid too.

Big test coming up against Duke.

Carlos Danger 11-08-2013 11:28 PM

He was a bit passive though. Needs to be more selfish in big games. Doesn't matter in a game like this, whoch probably explains it.'

Duke also had 30 more points than Kansas. Both guys scored 20 percent of their teams total.

He showed a little bit of everything. Shooting, passing, defense, and that spin move into a floater was nice

firecasey2013 11-09-2013 10:32 AM

he's canadian so he won't be a selfish player:cookie:

Carlos Danger 11-09-2013 12:14 PM

Wiggins' "go to move".

Expect to see it a lot from what I've read.

Carlos Danger 11-12-2013 04:35 PM

Huge night tonight with Kentucky taking on Michigan St. at 730, then Duke and Kansas going at it afterwards.

Top three prospects in there. Wish I could be there.

Nites 11-12-2013 09:51 PM

Duke vs Kansas is huge. Can't wait.

Magic, Russell, Pippen, Mullen, and Bulls Roster are all in attendance.

Carlos Danger 11-12-2013 10:16 PM

Game is delayed by 45 minutes so far...ugh. last game went well over what was expected.

It's only 7:30pm here so no problem for me

rapsmannn 11-13-2013 04:54 AM

wow wiggins is exciting to watch, parker, randle, wiggins, smart, Gordon, now that's a draft

by the way TSN all in on Wiggins, so why don't the Raptors commit already to the tank, riggin for wiggins please

Kirby 11-13-2013 06:14 PM

If I got first pick, I take Parker. Based off last night's game, subject to change.

I think Wiggins has higher ceiling based on his physical tools. Plus he is Canadian so higher chance that he would resign here once he is a super star (If that ever happens). It would be a very tough choice but I think I would still pick Wiggins, that can all change though
