What physical tools does Wiggins have that Parker doesn't? Just curious.

From last nights game, Parker made it look way easier in every way of the game... thats not lesser physical tools, that would be better would it not?

I think they'll both be stars and get drafted #1 and #2, but based off the first 2 games so far, I take Parker, and its honestly I don't even think about it that hard.

Obviously theres still a whole year to judge (and obviously march madness to get a real chance to see what they can do at a high level of play/pressure situation) But Parker so far has looked better in every aspect of the game.

First step and jumping ability. Don't get me wrong Parker is by no means a bad athlete, but I think Wiggins has slight edge on him when it comes to physical tools

Tbh I still take Wiggins over Parker even just including last night. Wiggins just has too much potential for either side of the court, I think Jabari will struggle defensively in the NBA.

Hearing things about his motor and how raw Wiggins is currently, Jabari looks much more ready and polished for the NBA. I don't think his D is that bad neither. Essentially, I'd rather take the sure thing. Not saying Wiggins won't be a star.

There's also the poise of Parker in comparison to Wiggins. The guy just looks like he's ready to ball already.

if by some miracle we were to get the #1 pick, no way in hell can this org pass on Wiggins for many reasons. unless he completely shits the bed or has a massive injury. the optics of not picking him would be bad.

I mean yeah because he's Canadian and from Toronto ofc. Aside from that it really is just a toss up. I'm just stating my opinion, you can't go wrong with either. Both will change a franchise around.

"raw" is being chucked around a lot by people about Wiggins. I don't think that's accurate. Jonas Valanciunas is raw. Andrew Wiggins is just really damn good, with potential to get better.

The guy has a shutdown defensive game, incredible athleticism, a great first step, and can attack the rim at will. He has crazy length, which in turn gives him the ability to rebound at a pretty solid rate. His jumpshot is good, but just not as good as Parker. But his jumper looked pretty good hitting that step back yesterday.

If he can work on his jumper (which he can, and will) I see no reason why he won't score 25 a night.

PLUS HE'S CANADIAN!!!:mu:

and how can you question his motor after last night? The kid shows the hell up. He just is in a different offence than Parker.

I have absolutely no problem with either, and think they will both be great, and already are. Just setting aside the Canadian factor. Currently I take Parker, but as has been said, its a long year so I'm not saying that won't change, even more than once.

I know, the Canadian thing was a bit of a joke.

But yeah, either would be wicked. But I don't think we take anyone other than Wiggins with 1st overall unless he really falls off.

were you only watching Wiggins get his 22 off catch and layups or did you see how much more Parker did over Wiggins?

Does it matter how you score? didn't know a jumpshot from 20 was worth more than a nice post move.

Also, games on now.

Thanks for the reminder. I wonder if TSN is going to show every Kanas game because of Wiggins.

Ellis is a nice player as well but I don't see how his game will translate into the NBA. He would be too undersized to play the 4 in the NBA.
