With guys like Shabazz Muhammad (expected to be a mixture of Kobe and Harden) and Nerlens Noel (the next Anthony Davis, with what looks like a better offensive game) and with some guys from this draft like Myck Kabongo and Austin Rivers and MKG reportedly staying until next year at least, would you support tanking another year if we don't get the player we're looking for in this draft or in FA, whoever that may be?

There's no way Shabazz will ever come close to being Kobe. Terrible comparison, the guy doesn't know how to use his right hand.

No i wouldn't, but you never know it is possible that we are going to have a crappy record if our young ones are not going to play as well as we expect next year.

Kabongo and Rivers are good players, but I don't think it's a big loss. MKG, probably wants to be a higher pick than what he's forecasted right now.
Honestly, I wouldn't just sit and wait for a player. Good scouting, should get us a good player this year and potentially next year as well. Plus, I still think we'll be in the lottery next year. |

Geez, yeah let's tank yet another season. Hell, we're not really tanking this season. Besides, Colangelo in his final season (on his contract) is absolutely not going to even give any thought to being bad another season. He will do everything he can in the next 6-7 months to improve this team for next season.

i wouldn't be obliged if our 2012-13 season mirrors that of OKC's 2008-09 season where OKC achieved a lot and looked very dangerous but still seemed to need another lottery guy and season before being able to put it all together. that off season they drafted harden with the #3 pick and the following 2009-2010 season they were 50-32.
one can only dream. i believe we need one more high lottery pick, after this seasons of course, before we can even begin trying to construct a championship contending team. Last edited by komot; 03-18-2012 at 05:52 PM. |

No, let's start winning.
A few of our current squad have gained valuable experience and are ready to shine ........ ( please God ) We've already got one top 5 pick on his way from Lithuania, and hopefully will get another high Draft pick in the coming months. Add a free agent (or two) ........ and hey presto, a play-off contender. |
