Were those playoff games? I didn't think so. Just for TORap.

Dude, I'm not arguing Bosh isn't a good player. But to suggest he would have been able to do what Randolph has done in Memphis is making a huge leap.....

it's the truth.

Carp out. Off to enjoy a nice little Saturday! Maybe some bed bath & beyond, I don't know if we'll have time!

By all means then... explain your point. Why would you ask if Bosh's numbers were from his MIA games if not to imply that they were less impressive because of the teammates that he has there?

Again.... why exactly are you implying? That Bosh wouldn't have been able to rebound as well as Zach? I think he's proven over his career that he can....

That he wouldn't have been able to face up and score as well and Zach? Once again... I think he's proven that he can.

That he wouldn't be able to drive the ball and get to the line as well?

WHAT exactly does Zach do on the court that is clearly better than Bosh?

Nothing. And Bosh has proven to be more consistent at all those things when comparing their careers.

alright... I wasn't implying they were less impressive, just that they were somewhat unrelated to the topic. What Bosh has done in Miami is very different than the role he undertook here. I'd suggest that Randolph is the main guy in Memphis right now, especially since Gay went down for the year. If the argument made by Jeff is to be considered valid, let's not compare what Bosh did in Miami to Randolph against the Spurs as an absolute equivalent. Also, his games in Toronto against the Spurs weren't of the same playoff intensity that the Mem-SA series exhibited.

I wasn't saying less impressive, just cautioning a need to be objective for all involved in the argument.

Yes Jeff, I'll pick up some bath salts for us later..... scrub my back?

If you still disagree Torap, then no worries.... I just think his stats against SAS on Miami is unrelated to a claim by Jeff that Bosh would still have knocked the top team of the regular season out if he were to replace Randolph.

Everything except for flopping, Bosh clearly wins in that category.

if Bosh was there instead of randolph, they would have found themselves in 9th seed on the outside looking in...being able to beat the spurs in round 1 would be an afterthought

bosh may have not had the most talented teams in toronto, but a REAL difference maker would have made something out of those teams and put the team on his back.... mr fake tough guy/third option on a 2nd place team wasn't able to take his game to the next level when it counted and do something worth mentioning or showing off about (say like maybe an advancement to the second round or something like that at minimum.....)

unlike Bosh in his time in t.o (during the playoffs of course, so TORAP doesnt take shit outta context to rebuttle) , randolph showed he was capable of handling the pressure and playing clutch, and against the team with the best record in the west as well....

With Bosh instead of Randolph they'd had the 6th seed and swept the first round. See we can all spew bullshit baseless crap. Lol

Well your statement is in fact baseless. Looking at Bosh's career with only 3 playoff victories before Miami, that statement is laughable. Toronto bent over backwards to try to make it work, but Bosh couldn't make it work because Bosh is overrated.

How many playoff wins did Randolph have prior to Memphis, and prior to this year?

Does it matter? He went to Memphis and turned the whole team around. He put the team on his back and killed the best team in the NBA where it really matters, the post-season. I've never seen Bosh put the Raptors on his back in the post-season, he just tries to flop and whines in the post-game interview. Wade/Lebron are carrying the Heat through isolation offense, Bosh has a minor role. To say Bosh is putting the Heat on his back is hilarious, otherwise he'd be in MVP talks.

Of course it matters. You're bringing Bosh's whole career into question vs Randolph who's had a worse overall career based on a few games and excluding Randolph's past infutilities. It's amazing how fast bandwagons fill up and how minds are changed over night. Especially when bitterness is thrown into the mix.

Bosh is never going to be 'that guy' ever again. He will be in the shadows for the rest of his career with minor roles. Randolph carried the Grizzlies past the best team in the NBA, this is an incredible feat if you're the 8th seed. The fact that you think Bosh can carry ANY team passed the #1 seed when you're #8 is hilarious. Bosh can't carry any ream in the post-season no matter what, and Randolph can and did.
