alls i'm sayin' is that basic facts of math and statistical comparisons are not the same thing. i offer no value judgement on their respective uses at this point. just don't tell me that 2+2=4 is even remotely the same thing as a statistical comparison.

Just making a point.

but in regards to the O/D ratings, there is no room for arguement, it is very cut and dry, black and white. A high O Rating is good, a low D rating is good, the higher the positive net the better all around the player.

still a posteriori knowledge. compare all you want, but it's not a priori. this is a significant difference, and precisely why it cannot be asserted that these comparisons are fact.

Water and H2O are the same thing as well, but one needs to see the science behind it to know the truth. One would consider that to be poteriori, but in fact it is priori.

'fraid that's not what 'a priori' and 'a posteriori' means.

the difference between h2o and water is semantic, or perhaps semiotic. this is not a question of knowledge known innately vs. through experience.

2+2=4 is 'a priori' because it does not need to be proven. it is just innate fact. statistical comparisons demand some sort of proof and also need both a context and an explanation.

qed.

Rasho>Kwame Brown
Anthony>Smush
Odom had talent, just didn't work. Just like Charlie V.
Ford actually won games for us at some point?
And didn't Calderon decide to bloom into the perfect 6thman/starter that year while..Radmonovic was the Laker's?

Hahaha. I remember that moment. Swirsk was like wtf? Funny thing is that I was playing NBA 2K9 against a CPU opponent and I was playing against the Knick's and Randolph kept on launching contested threes and kept missing.....

Well hopefully it won't be Bosh getting his ass beat by Zach Randolph. If he tried to go all badass I don't know how he'd do in a fight with his chicken wings
