Angry Are you paining that we're not a champion contention team like me?

Sorry to state the obvious but I feel like going on a rant as I'm sure many of you. It's a long read but take a look at my 2 cents fellow readers.

I'm just horrified by the energy and tenacity of this paper-thin team. I could see it in Bosh's and O'neal's faces as we were contesting the last quarter of today's game against Orlando. The fact of the matter is I just don't see this team remotely competing for a championship with the likes of Boston, Detroit, Cleveland, Orlando and heck... Phily. As much as I love our city and love our team, I just see us approaching another sub ~.500 record with a 7th or 8th spot in the playoffs... which means demolition for us. Why am I being so negative? I don't know, I just don't see this team getting any better with its current roster. It frustrates me but thats just how it is.

If you watched the Hawks last year they had all the elements of competing at a high level; a fast breaking game, consistent shooting, HIGH flying, SIZE, just not the experience. We were all laughing at them for not making any off season moves and letting Childress walk but I honestly see them outplaying us for a upper echelon playoff spot. Whereas Toronto's roster is full of 3+ year players minus a Moon, Ukic and Solomon whom of which are being unproductive in general.

Yes, Calderon was out this game and the turnovers were a massive problem but as much I as I love Calderon his defensive weaknesses and lack of a fast-break-play REALLY limits his play against an ever so young and "improving" Jameer Nelson. Actually no one can run the fast break on our team AT ALL. Our attempts from Parker all end in offiensive fouls or missed baskets with no calls because he doesn't get the contact, Moon can't dribble to save his life, and Calderon.. well you know... Bargnani can't be anymore inconsistent... One day he only drives to the basket and makes plays, and the next he settles for uncontested threes (that he misses thrice in a row). Hey but check out the Spurs who are still managing to WIN games despite missing an essential Ginobli and Parker. People are just stepping up ala Mason.

I think Jamario reads these forums as its apparent he is now taking the ball to the basket but he is unable to finish everytime. If theres a will theres always a way, I just don't see him bending his knees for a LEGITIMATE jump anymore FYI everyone, he's yet to complete a dunk this season.

If this team doesn't get its act together via substantial coaching changes or a roster change, our key players are more than likely to walk. Bosh and O'neal play their hearts out. Bosh isn't a rock, he has feelings and I'm sure he's just hiding them behind his overcontent interviews. Someone who speaks that positive in bad scenarios is just holding their feelings in. He's gonna burst eventually. Just backtrack a few years ago for Vince. I'm sure Bosh is a much better person, but put yourself in the shoes, wait, put yourself in his shoes and play 82 games for 5 seasons... whom of which one's career is being limited due to a subpar team and a subpar coach. You will never be happy, and when you are not happy you are not going to play well.

There have already been talks of Parker going back to Europe after this season and if the Raps don't improve, theres no incentive for Parker, a guy who makes more in Europe to stay on a losing team. If you all haven't noticed Bosh and Parker are the closest of all players (who's Bosh always laughing, making funny faces/actions with on the bench or in practice), if he walks do you think Bosh will want to stay with us?

And even then, can Bargnani lead this team? Yea, lead it to a 15-67 season and a first round draft pick in 2012 for us to get back into contention for what? around 2017? Despite his progression so far, I don't see him competing with other allstars let alone players of mediocre talent at this rate.

Do you want this team to be like the Clippers, Thunder, Bobcats, ?

I just wish there was something I could do besides screaming at my T.V when the Raps play.

Oh don't get me started on Kapono driving to the net and TRAVELLING EVERY SINGLE $%@ING TIME, EVERY $%@ING GAME. Pickup players over the age of 15 don't even travel anymore and this guy is suppose to be a professional. I know he's good at shooting but TO BE a basketball player one HAS to be able to dribble, its like being a life guard without knowing how to swim... just knowing the CPR portion of your job.

Can someone holler at Darrick Martin or bribe Juan Dixon in coming back?

In all honesty those two were MUCH less turnover prone than Solomon who's job is honestly, solely to dribble past his defenseman and PASS the ball and guarantee that, that someone gets it. That's all we need from him... and even then he loses the ball, whether it be stupid pass, dribble mistakes, offensive foul (this guy likes to post up from FAR with no intent of dribbling to the rim/breaking down his man, and even if he does he can't finish.

Anyone got Bryan Colangelo's email?

Ha that's not real is it? Even if it was there's no way he would answer fan mail. He probably wouldn't even read it.

It used to be youngLion when he responded (or his assistant responded) to an email I sent 2 years ago.

IMO Mitchell is the problem. How in the world did Moon get 12 minutes and Kapono over 30 when the other team's best scorer is a SF? Parker and Kapono played the entire 4th, I wasn't watching closely because I was disgusted, but I'm assuming one of them was guarding Hedo the entire time he went off. NEITHER of those players can come close to guarding Hedo. Parker is 6'6, Hedo is 6'10, good luck with that. Kapono, don't make me laugh. Bargs or Moon should've been on him THE ENTIRE GAME.

Parker got 6 shots against Redick playing 35 minutes... SIX SHOTS AGAINST THE WORST DEFENDER IN THE NBA. Kapono should've got a lot more burn against Redick, I'm sure he could've caught him off guard and got lots of open looks.

JO coming off in favor of Kapono when Dwight got 5 fouls and down 6... WHAT!?!?

I expected us to lose this game, it's a road game against one of the East's best. But for all of Bosh's greatness, we're just not playing smart out there. And a lot of that has to do with Sam.

At this point I'd almost support going 5-10 so we can finally lose Smitch.

To be honest, I'm not sure if interseason coaching changes are really beneficial for the team. If it boils down to Smitch being the problem, (of which I'm is ONE of this teams problems) a change in management in the middle of the season is really devastating compared to offseason moves. Why? Because players have to get use to different styles of play, pratice, and a new coach wouldn't know how to react or compliment certain players on such short notice, especially when its gametime every other night. An offseason coaching change would probably be best.

Is it really his email? I don't think he would want thousands of fans annoying him about how to do his job.
