Wtf Tj?

:angryfire:Okay, I like him, but after this he should be benched for a couple of games. He single handly destroyed all our momentun and provoked easy baskets with those turnovers. Did Sam ask him to do that? why didnt he bench him.
We were doing a nice all around game except for those missed shots and Tj completely killed that. WTF WTF WTF?:grrr:

raptor123 03-04-2008 09:34 PM

Right from day one I knew that TJ was a selfish asshole. Its time we sit his ass on the bench and trade him in the summer. BC must bite the bullit give him away he will and is starting to show he will be a cancer on this team.

The MVP of West Hollywood 03-04-2008 09:34 PM

Pretty much yeah

Normally we're one of the best teams when it comes to everyone sharing and playing together, it feels so weird having one of those insane me-first moments happen to us. Again the only instance I can think of this year or maybe the last couple years topping that was Tinsley's masterpiece in the Phoenix game, which was an all time wtf. Our chemistry has definitley been terrible since TJ came back, again normally I like TJ and having a bit of swagger isn't bad, but egads...

I really really hope Sam or BC or someone says something about this. I mean if you look at the stat sheet, he shot a "good" 8-13, so likely no-one will notice it, but honestly. Get that shit outta here.

The MVP of West Hollywood 03-04-2008 09:37 PM

The Raptors are NOT a good enough team to win without chemistry. We have no second star, our lineup just isn't good enough. This is bad.

Belsius 03-04-2008 09:37 PM

I dont want him traded, I want him to be punished by Sam to see if he can learn the lesson.:grrr:

Belsius 03-04-2008 09:39 PM

If he cant GTFO.

And for the record, I dont think he is that much of a selfish player, he just tries to do too much.

pimpery 03-04-2008 09:39 PM

TJ has always been a selfish player, i couldnt believe ppl were buying that "Ford saying all the right things" bullshit. He wants to run the show, he wants to be the star.

I wish we could move him, but at 8mil a year and a couple bumps from being retired, i dont think theres much biters until his contract is almost up. Maybe play him as starter, bump up his PPG and some dumb ass GM will want him, i dunno.

I don't agree with you often, but you hit the nail on the head this time pimp. :clapping:

Note to BC:"Trade TJ, get draft pick, use draft picks to get 1 promising rebounder and 1 promising swing player then sign Jose, bring Ukic from Europe & sign good, tough veteran." :grrr:

Note to Raptor fans: Terrible contract and a history of serious injuries make him merely impossible to move. Only way out is likely a buyout and that would hurt us financially, but eventually it might have to be something this team explores. :(

Belsius 03-04-2008 09:52 PM

The worst thing is then you read things like this:

Quote:

T.J. Ford single-handedly kept Toronto alive in the fourth quarter. He scored 13 of his 20 points in the period, the first 13 the Raptors had. Anthony Parker added 19 points and nine rebounds and Jose Calderon scored 14 points, but Toronto lost its third straight.

I think someone can take him, I mean if Shaq can be moved...

Belsius 03-04-2008 09:54 PM

we outrebounded them 47 to 41 and 12 to 2 Offs.

L O L

Dr. J. Naismith 03-04-2008 09:55 PM

And its that type of shit that feeds Ford's ego. Yeah, chucked up and handful of shots and luckily hit most of them, but killed any possibility for ball movement or and sense of order on offense. Again, unacceptable. :grrr:

The MVP of West Hollywood 03-04-2008 09:58 PM

I remember thinking in the 3rd when Jose was getting all the minutes and Ford had like 7 total, that it was an oddly defiant move by Sam and I liked his designation of a #1 guy and a #2 guy, and then it cut to Ford smiling and I thought he'd be ok with it.

AND THEN...

pimpery 03-05-2008 01:11 AM

less PT for TJ = i better take twice as many shots haha

My friend works camera's at raptor games, he has great outtakes of TJ advertising his bobblehead day, hopefully i can get them posted here, dude is such a selfish redneck bigtime hick its funny, his outtakes are just hilarious.

umm whats that gotta do with what i said?

fancylad 03-05-2008 07:33 AM

yikes.

things are not going well.

TJ deserves all this criticism. he is fucking up the team right now. The yahoo sports re-cap is making me mad. Even the Pimpery is making some valid, correct observations (well, except for the stupid redneck comment) which makes me think that the TJ issue is REALLY REALLY obvious to everyone.

So, i ask:
1. Are Sam and Brian Colangelo on the same page?
2. As the coach, why doesn't Sam just tell TJ to play differently, or just NOT play him if he continues to make himself option no.1?

damn, i'm mad.
