Default Wright annoyed by M.J.

Having Michael Jordan behind the bench could certainly add value to the Bobcats. Imagine have one of the game's best -- if not the best -- giving you advice. It'd seem as though you'd be more attentive to what he has to say, right? Well, not if you're a ref. At least, you're not supposed to if you're a ref, and Toronto's Antoine Wright wanted to make sure that was clear. Wright was talking smack during the Raptors' win at Charlotte on Monday, telling the referees to pay no attention to Jordan since he doesn't play anymore. The problem is, given that M.J. is a hoops legend, he may always have sway with the refs, no matter if it's fair or not.

I agree...him and Amir have been my two favourite Raptors this season. Close third would be JJ. They play the game, with no bullshit, no whining...no nothing.

We HAVE to keep them if this team wants to go anywhere.

it's interesting comparing NBA refs with MLB umpires for example or a lot of the refs in soccer. In those two sports i find that if a player or a team complain a lot and 'challenge' the officiating, the ref is usually more hard on them. Whereas in the NBA, some people moan and complain enough and the refs start giving out advantages. It is ridiculous. It's like all the chirping you see from coaching. That shit shouldn't work, but it does all the time. It's frustrating.

LOL after the turnover from Felton to Chandler, Devlin was like, I know what he (MJ) is thinking... "I could have made that".

ahha! I found that hilarious.

Hands down, MJ was the greatest player who ever lived. It must be his competitive nature getting to him. However, star players gets star treatment by the REFS. It is one of things that is ruining the NBA. MJ should be in the owner's box and keep his cool.

Can you believe MJ is still getting calls when he no longer is a player and isnt even a GM or COACH LOL

A owner sitting on the sidelines and if he's upset and off his seat the NBA refs favouring calls?

Such B.S but shows you how big he Is/Was...

A few people would like to speak with you.... their names are Wilt Chamberlain, Oscar Robertson and Magic Johnson.

He got the call his way and preferential treatment from the league as a player, why should that change now that he's an owner?

Mike is a sly snake...
he probably talks-up the refs before each game and sweet talks them with his weaselish-charm; which the refs will eat up - because he's MJ.
then during the games, he'll call them out and try to get them to look at him... then he'll give them his 'hey, its me, MJ, look".

Another bad gamble by MJ, pun intended. Were there even 10,000 people in that building last night? Everytime you could see the crowd on TV all I saw were empty seats.
